Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital is a 219-bed non-profit hospital in Fairfield, Ohio in Butler County owned and operated by Mercy Health.

Forest Fair Village (formerly Cincinnati Mall, Cincinnati Mills, The Shops at Forest Fair, and Forest Fair Mall) is an abandoned enclosed shopping mall in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is situated on the border between Forest Park and Fairfield, at the junction of Interstate 275 and Winton Road (Exit 39). The mall, built in phases between 1988 and 1989 as Forest Fair Mall, has become noted for its troubled history; despite being the second-biggest mall in the state and bringing many new retailers to the market, it lost three anchor stores (B. Altman and Company, Bonwit Teller, and Sakowitz) and its original owner LJ Hooker to bankruptcy less than a year after opening. The mall underwent renovations throughout the mid 1990s, attracting new stores such as Kohl's, Burlington Coat Factory, and Bass Pro Shops. Mills Corporation renamed the property to Cincinnati Mills in 2002 and renovated the mall once more in August 2004. Following the sale of Mills's portfolio to Simon Property Group, the mall was sold several times afterward, while continuing to lose many of its key tenants. After having been renamed to Cincinnati Mall and again to Forest Fair Village in the 2010s, the property received significant media attention as an example of a dead mall. It also received a number of proposals for renovation, none of which were realized. Following years of tenancy decline, it closed to the public on December 2, 2022.

Mercantile Stores Company Inc. until 1998, was a traditional department store retailer operating 102 fashion apparel stores and 16 home fashion stores in 17 states. The stores were operated under 13 different nameplates and varied in size, with the average store approximating 170,000 sq ft (16,000 m2). Store names included Bacon's, Castner Knott, deLendrecie's, Gayfers, Glass Block, Hennessy's, J. B. White (also known as White's), The Jones Store Company, Joslins, Lion Store, Maison Blanche, McAlpin's, and Root's. Each store offered a wide selection of merchandise with special emphasis placed on fashion apparel, accessories and fashion home furnishings. This was aimed at middle and upper-middle income consumers. In addition to its department store operations the company maintained a partnership position in five operating shopping center ventures. Each of these centers had a retail outlet of the company. The store chain was formed in 1914 out of the bankruptcy of H.B. Claflin & Company. Its stores were separated into two store chains, Associated Dry Goods - with brands such as Lord & Taylor and Hengerer's - and Mercantile Stores Company. In May 1998 Mercantile Stores was acquired by Dillard's of Little Rock, Arkansas, for $2.9 billion (~$4.88 billion in 2022). Later that year, Dillard's announced plans to sell off 26 of the newly acquired locations where there already were Dillard's stores to The May Department Stores Company and Proffitt's Inc.

Winton Woods City School District is a city school district in northern Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. Winton Woods serves students living in Forest Park, Greenhills, and Springfield Township. The school district was renamed Winton Woods when Greenhills and Forest Park High Schools were merged in 1991 for the 1991–92 school year. The district's general offices are located at 1215 W. Kemper Rd. in Forest Park, next to the high school. The current superintendent is Anthony G. Smith.

Fairfield High School is a public high school in Fairfield, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Fairfield City School District, and serves grades 10–12. The Fairfield City School district serves students in the city of Fairfield and Fairfield Township.

Jungle Jim's International Market, formerly Jungle Jim's Farmer's Market, is a large specialty supermarket in Fairfield, Ohio, with a satellite location in Union Township, Clermont County, both near Cincinnati. The main location is roughly 200,000 square feet (4.6 acres or 18,580 square meters), and has been described as a theme park of food. Jungle Jim's offers one of the largest wine selections in the United States, live seafood tanks, and an in-store cooking school. Each week, the store is visited by about 82,000 shoppers, whom founder "Jungle" Jim Bonaminio calls "foodies". Many of the specialty foods in international departments are difficult to find elsewhere in the Greater Cincinnati area, and customers have been known to drive from other cities for the store's wide variety of food. Jungle Jim’s is also known for its use of animatronics as well as other displays.

The Becker House is a historic house on the outskirts of the city of Springdale, Ohio, United States. Constructed in 1830 as a farmhouse, it was for a time home to a prominent figure in the national debate over slavery. Few changes have been made to the house since its earliest years, warranting its designation as a historic site. In 1830, Joseph Hough decided to erect a residence on his 63-acre (0.25-km2) property; the finished residence was typical of farmhouses built in the area at the time. His design consisted of a simple two-story structure with weatherboarded walls. Its facade is divided into three bays, with a porch sheltering the entire first floor. Hough owned the property until his death in the early 1850s; the probate process following his death resulted in the property's conveyance to John Burgoyne, Jr. Burgoyne's father, John Burgoyne, Sr., lived at the house from 1860 until 1864, following an incident in which he had suddenly gained a leading position in the national slavery debate: while serving as a judge of the common pleas court for Hamilton County, the elder man ruled that the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 was unconstitutional during a case that had already attracted national attention.In 1974, the Becker House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, qualifying on the basis of its historic architecture; it is Springdale's only federally-designated historic site. It was deemed worthy of inclusion as a well-preserved example of a mid-century farmstead, and its fine structural condition was expected to ensure its intact survival for many years into the future.

Winton Woods High School is a public high school located in Forest Park, just north of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Winton Woods City School District. Winton Woods High School serves about 1,560 students from Village of Greenhills, the City of Forest Park, and parts of Springfield Township.

WCNW (1560 kHz) was an AM radio station broadcasting a Christian radio format, combining instructional religious shows with southern gospel music. Licensed to Fairfield, Ohio, it served the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The station was owned by Vernon R. Baldwin, Inc. By day, WCNW transmitted with 5,000 watts. As 1560 AM is a clear channel frequency, to protect other stations on the frequency, the station was required to sign off at night. During critical hours, it transmitted with 1,000 watts.
