Deopham

Morley Old Hall is a Grade I-listed moated manor house built in the sixteenth century in the village of Morley Saint Peter, some twelve miles from the cathedral city of Norwich, Norfolk, England.The house was created circa 1600 by John Sedley, an architect to Henry VII. It is built to a U-shaped floor plan in two storeys with two storeys of attics. Constructed in brick with plain-tiled roofs it is completely surrounded by a moat.In recent years the house has been owned by Field Marshal Sir Edmund Ironside, Commander in Chief of Home Forces during the Second World War and, in the 1970s, by Janet Shand Kydd, the first wife of Peter Shand Kydd, stepfather of Diana, Princess of Wales. Before its sale in 2001 the hall was nearing dereliction, and one main wall had collapsed into the moat. In May 2009, it was put up for sale for £2.65 million. Following approximately £1m of renovation work by the new owners, Richard and Alison Warden, it was again put up for sale in April 2012 for £3 million.

Sea Mere, Hingham is a 36.3-hectare (90-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest close to the town of Hingham in Norfolk.The site has a natural circular kettle hole mere which was formed during the Holocene period approximately 10,000 years ago and covers 20 acres (8.1 ha) together with areas of fen, grazing marsh and woodland. The fen has a rich variety of flora including saw sedge, marsh pennywort, yellow loosestrife, yellow iris and the rare green figwort.The grounds are open for group and school visits by appointment only and occasionally in aid of charity

Hardingham is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 4 square miles (9.78 km) with a population of 274 in 110 households at the 2001 census, decreasing to a population of 267 in 107 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. The parish includes the hamlet of Danemoor Green about one mile north-east of the main village. An interesting fact about Hardingham is that a philanthropist opened a school nearby which gave local children a higher standard of education than was usual in a rural farming area. (date?) It is situated 4 km south-west of the town of Wymondham and 23 km south-west of the city of Norwich. The village name is normally abbreviated to "Morley St Botolph". In 1931 the parish had a population of 204.Morley Saint Botolph has a sister village, Morley Saint Peter, although the two are often simply referred to as "Morley". The names Morley St. Botolph and Morley St. Peter are first attested on the Ordnance Survey map of 1838.

Kimberley is a village and civil parish in the South Norfolk district, in the county of Norfolk, England, situated about 3 miles (4.8 km) north-west of Wymondham, around the crossroads of the B1108 and B1135. Kimberley is home to Kimberley Hall, a house whose grounds were designed by Capability Brown. The Wodehouse family had owned land in Kimberley since the 1370s, and in c. 1400 John Wodehouse built Wodehouse Tower at the site of the later Kimberley Hall. John's son John Wodehouse Esq. distinguished himself in the Battle of Agincourt and was granted large estates by Henry V as a reward. Earl of Kimberley is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, created for John Wodehouse, 3rd Baron Wodehouse in 1866. The present holder of the title is John Wodehouse, 5th Earl of Kimberley.

Hardingham railway station is a railway station in the village of Hardingham in the English county of Norfolk. The station is periodically served by heritage services operated by the Mid-Norfolk Railway on the line from East Dereham to Wymondham.The former yard is now used by an independent rolling stock company, Great Eastern Traction Ltd., specialising in trading in industrial locomotives. Other items of privately owned rolling stock have also been preserved in the former station yard.
