Kashiwanoha (柏の葉) ("Oak Leaf") is an area of Kashiwa in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan, less than 25 minutes by Tsukuba Express, Tokyo's fastest private railway, from Akihabara (秋葉原), Tokyo. With the opening of University of Tokyo, Kashiwa Campus, the population of Kashiwanoha is growing, and the area is undergoing corresponding development, including the recent opening of a baseball stadium and football pitch in Kashiwanoha Park.

Wakamatsu-kawada Station (若松河田駅, wakamatsu kawada eki) is a subway station in the central part of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

The Aikikai is the original school of Aikido. It is centered on the Aikikai Foundation in Japan, and its figurehead is the Doshu (the family heir of the founder of Aikido). It is represented globally through the International Aikido Federation.

Tokyo Korean School (Japanese: 東京韓国学校 Tōkyō Kankoku Gakkō, Korean: 동경한국학교) is a Korean school located in Wakamatsu-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan; catering to the Korean expatriate community and to Japanese-Koreans living in and around Tokyo. It was founded in 1954. It is affiliated with the South Korean government and Mindan (민단). It includes an elementary school, a middle school and a high school. The total population of the school is approximately 1,100 students. The primary language of instruction at the school is Korean. However, there is an English language department and English library at the school. Educational essentialism is the main educational philosophy of teachers in both the Korean and English departments at the school.

Shinjuku (Japanese: 新宿区, Hepburn: Shinjuku-ku) (Tokyo dialect: Shinjuku) is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative centre, housing the northern half of the busiest railway station in the world (Shinjuku Station) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration centre for the government of Tokyo. As of 2018, the ward has an estimated population of 346,235, and a population density of 18,232 people per km2. The total area is 18.23 km2. Since the end of the Second World War, Shinjuku has been a major secondary center of Tokyo (fukutoshin), rivaling to the original city center in Marunouchi and Ginza. It literally means "New Inn Ward". Shinjuku is also commonly used to refer to the entire area surrounding Shinjuku Station. The southern half of this area and of the station in fact belong to Yoyogi and Sendagaya districts of the neighboring Shibuya ward.

Tokyo Medical University (東京医科大学, Tōkyō Ika Daigaku) is a Japanese private university located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1916, it is one of the medical schools established in Japan before World War II. In accordance with the nation’s policy for medical education, this private university has a six-year medical school curriculum that offers 'preclinical' and 'clinical' studies to confer a bachelor's degree or graduate degree with which medical students are qualified for the national medical licensing exam. The university also has a postgraduate school (graduate school or daigakuin in Japanese) that offers Ph.D. degrees.

Waseda Station (早稲田駅, Waseda-eki) is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tokyo Metro. Its station number is T-04. It is separate from Waseda Station on the Tokyo Sakura Tram.

Ushigome-yanagichō Station (牛込柳町駅, Ushigome-yanagichō-eki) is a subway station on the Toei Oedo Line in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei). It is numbered "E-04".

Gakushuin Women's College (学習院女子大学, Gakushūin joshi daigaku) is a private women's college in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan; part of the Gakushūin School Corporation (学習院). The predecessor of the school was founded in 1847 by Emperor Kōmei. It was chartered as a junior college in 1949 and became a four-year college in 1998. Gakushuin Women's College is also one of the main hosts of the International Theater Company London which comes from London to perform Shakespearean plays in English, directed by MBE Paul Stebbings and brought to Japan by Paula Berwanger. Past performances include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night. The 2020 performance of Othello was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Tokyo Metropolitan Toyama High School (東京都立戸山高等学校, Tōkyō-toritsu Toyama Kōtōgakkō) is a public day school run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The campus is located in Toyama 3-chome, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. It has been designated as a Super Science High School (SSH) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). It has also been designated as part of the Team Medical (TM) project run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education (a project where students who wish to go on to medical school form a team).

The collections of Waseda University Library (早稲田大学図書館; Waseda Daigaku Toshokan) form one of the largest libraries in Japan. Established in 1882, they currently hold some 5.6 million volumes and 46,000 serials.
