The Mall Wood Green

London Turkish Radio (LTR) is a Turkish radio station specialising in music, news, and politics. It broadcast to London on 1584 kHz AM from 1990 to 2013 and currently broadcasts online.

Noel Park and Wood Green is a closed railway station on the Palace Gates Line in Wood Green, north London. It was located on the north-east side of The Broadway adjacent to Pelham Road. Its site is now occupied by Wood Green Shopping City. The station was opened by the Great Eastern Railway as Green Lanes on 1 January 1878, as the temporary terminus of the line, which was extended to Palace Gates (Wood Green) station on 7 October 1878. In 1884, as work began on the large Noel Park housing estate nearby, the station name was changed to Green Lanes & Noel Park; it was given its final name in 1902. Competing as it did with other nearby railway lines and the London Underground's Piccadilly line, the Palace Gates line was unprofitable; the line and the station were closed for passenger services on 7 January 1963, and for freight on 7 December 1964. Following closure, the embankment that housed the station and the bridge over The Broadway was removed. Nothing is left of the station.

Wood Green is a London Underground station on the Piccadilly line. The station is between Turnpike Lane and Bounds Green stations and is in Travelcard Zone 3. It is located at junction of High Road, Wood Green and Lordship Lane. It serves Wood Green Shopping City and the nearby Haringey Council administrative complex as well as a densely populated residential area. It is also the closest tube station to Alexandra Palace.

Lordship Lane connects Wood Green (N22) with Tottenham High Road (N17). It lies in the London Borough of Haringey and forms part of the A109 road.

Livingston Recording Studios is a recording studio in West London. The studios were started by Ray Kinsey, a film director from North London, who branched out into recording talking books for the blind. The first Livingston Studio designed for recording music was set up in Barnet UK during 1963 where work on talking books continued alongside the recording of folk music. Kinsey's son, Nick Kinsey, joined the company in 1966. Nick Kinsey started to develop the studios continuing with the recording of folk music and branching out into pop music. He recorded artists such as Sweeney's Men, Pentangle, Iain Matthews and Russ Ballard. Nick Kinsey bought the studio from Fred Livingston-Hogg an Oxford-based business man who had been involved with the Livingston Hire Group, with the help of Alan Tomkins and Michael Smee, and rebuilt it. Livingston Studios were purchased by Miloco Studios in 2012, who continue to run the studio.

Haringey Heartlands is an urban regeneration project in the London Borough of Haringey, in north London, England. The site is located west of Shopping City in Wood Green. The aim of the development is "to create a vibrant and attractive new urban quarter which acts as the civic and cultural Heart of Haringey, integrating with and benefiting wider communities."The newly named Heartlands will centre on the new Clarendon Square and spine road (to be named Mary Neuner Road, after the former mayor of the borough), based around Brook Road, Clarendon Road and Western Road. It will be the site for 1,300–1,500 new homes, as well as small business space, a 20-storey tower, and open spaces and play areas. Public consultation on the site commenced in 2003 and a draft development plan was drawn up in 2005. A £4.6m government grant to Transport for London and Haringey London Borough Council meant that civil engineering started on the spine road through the site in Spring 2008, and was completed by October 2009.

The A105 road is an A road in London, England. It runs from Canonbury, in between Highbury and Dalston, to Enfield Town. The road is 8 miles (13 km) long. Part of the road forms Green Lanes, one of the longest streets in London, while the A105 also serves as the primary access route to the Shopping City shopping centre. The road originally continued north from Enfield Town through Forty Hill and Bulls Cross, crossing the A10 to the A1010 at Bullsmoor to the south of Waltham Cross. The section between Enfield Town and the A10 is now unclassified. The northernmost section has since been extended eastwards to become part of the A1055.

Wood Green Crown Court is a crown court on Lordship Lane, Wood Green, which deals with criminal cases.In 2013, a juror in a sexual case being heard at Wood Green was jailed for two months after being found guilty of contempt of court for misusing the Internet during a trial there.

The Wood Green War Memorial is located on the High Road, Wood Green, in the London Borough of Haringey. It was erected in 1920 and paid for by public subscription of the people of Wood Green to remember the men of the area who died during the First World War. It was subsequently adapted to include the dead of the Second World War. It is grade II listed with Historic England.

Slave Labour is a mural that was painted by a British graffiti artist, Banksy, on the side wall of a Poundland store in Wood Green, London in May 2012. The artwork is 48.03 inches (122 cm) high by 59.84 inches (152 cm) wide, and depicts an urchin child at a sewing machine assembling a bunting of Union Jack patches. The work was a protest against the use of sweatshops to manufacture Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics memorabilia in 2012.In February 2013 the mural was removed from its location and put up for sale at Fine art Auctions in Miami, US. After an appeal from the residents of Wood Green the mural was withdrawn from sale in the US and returned to the UK. It was sold at an auction in Covent Garden, London for (USD) $1.2 million.

St Michael and All Angels is a Church of England parish church that stands on Bounds Green Road in Wood Green within the London Borough of Haringey. This church is not to be confused with the original St Michael at Bowes that used to stand in Palmerston Road before it was demolished and restored to a much smaller church and hall in the 1980s.The church was designed by George Gilbert Scott and built in 1843. Alterations designed by H Curzon were made in 1865. The chancel and tower were added in 1874. The building is grade II listed.
