The Gold Coast City Art Gallery was a regional Art museum located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Opened in 1986, the Gallery was part of HOTA, Home of the Arts (formerly known as the Gold Coast Art Centre) which is funded by the Gold Coast City Council . After 33 years, the Gold Coast City Art Gallery closed in 2018 to prepare for the opening of the new $60.5m HOTA gallery in early 2021.

Surfers Paradise is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Surfers Paradise had a population of 23,689 people.Colloquially known as "Surfers", the suburb has many high-rise apartment buildings and a wide surf beach. In 2009 as part of the Q150 celebrations, Surfers Paradise was announced as one of the Q150 Icons of Queensland for its role as a "location".

Cypress Avenue light rail station is an important public transport interchange in the Gold Coast suburb of Surfers Paradise. The station is part of the Gold Coast's G:link light rail system situated on the corner of Cypress Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard. The G:link connects Broadbeach South with Helensvale railway station via the key activity centres of Surfers Paradise and Southport. Cypress Avenue also provides a bus connection to Nerang via the Nerang railway station.

Circle on Cavill is a $551 million commercial development with two residential towers built by the Sunland Group and positioned in a key city block in the heart of the Surfers Paradise CBD, neighbouring with Towers of Chevron Renaissance shopping mall and resort apartment complex. Circle on Cavill is bounded by the main Surfers Paradise Boulevard at the western end of Cavill Mall and river end of Cavill Avenue, between the Gold Coast Highway and Ferny Avenue, in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The South Tower was completed around March 2007 and the North Tower was completed around July 2007. Both towers are joined on level 4 lounge which takes in the view of the Nerang River. The tallest point of the north tower is approximately 220 m and reflects a recent trend to building upwards in Surfers' skyline, also reflected in the construction of Q1 and Soul.

Kinkabool is a heritage-listed apartment block at 32-34 Hanlan Street, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by John M. Morton of Lund Hutton Newell Black & Paulsen and built from 1959 to 1960 by J D Booker Constructions (Gold Coast) Pty Ltd. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 5 February 2009.
