Huskisson Dock

Sandon Half Tide Dock is a half tide dock on the River Mersey, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern dock system in Kirkdale, connected to Huskisson Dock to the north, Wellington Dock to the east and Bramley-Moore Dock to the south. Sandon Dock was situated to the north of Wellington Dock and was accessible via Sandon Half Tide Dock.

Canada Dock consists of a main basin nearest the river wall with three branch docks and a graving dock to the east. It is connected to Brocklebank Dock to the north and Huskisson Dock to the south.

Everton had played at their previous home ground Goodison Park since 1892, having moved from their original home at Anfield following a disagreement with the landowner John Houlding over their rent. The club's supporters are colloquially known as "Evertonians", the "Toffees" or the "Blues". Everton have a long-standing rivalry with nearby club Liverpool, with whom they contest the Merseyside derby. The club was owned by Farhad Moshiri, after he bought 49.9% of the club's shares in 2016. As of May 2023, the club's value was $744 million. The club's revenue and operating income for the 2022–23 season were $242 million and -$23 million respectively. In December 2024, American billionaire Dan Friedkin purchased the club.

Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium is an under construction football stadium that will become the home ground for Everton F.C.. Located on Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall, Liverpool, England, it is due to open for the start of the 2024-25 season, replacing Goodison Park. Bramley-Moore is a former commercial dock that sits behind locked gates next to a wastewater treatment plant, and it is intended that the new stadium will become the heart of a new mixed-use development in the area containing shops, housing and other venues.

Bramley-Moore Dock is a semi-derelict dock on the River Mersey in Liverpool, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. The dock is located in the northern dock system in Liverpool's Vauxhall area, and is connected to Sandon Half Tide Dock to the north and Nelson Dock to the south. Jesse Hartley was the architect, and the dock opened in 1848. Currently the dock is inaccessible to the public and sits behind locked gates. Everton FC's new home ground, Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium, is proposed to be built on the dock. The Club received planning approval for a 52,888 capacity stadium which is set to be opened in time for the start of the 2024/25 football season. The project was cited as one of the reasons for the revocation of Liverpool's World Heritage Site status as the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City, with the World Heritage Committee stating that the project was one of the developments which had resulted in a "serious deterioration" of the historic site.

Huskisson Dock was a railway station on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, adjacent to the dock of the same name. It was primarily used for access to the passenger liners, particularly those of Cunard and Ellerman.It was opened in May 1896 and replaced nearby Sandon Dock station, which was closed at the same time.The station closed, along with the rest of the line on 30 December 1956. No evidence of this station remains.

Sandon Dock was a railway station on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, adjacent to the dock of the same name. It was opened on 6 March 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury. The station had a hydraulic lift bridge which enabled a section of track to be lifted up to allow large vehicles to pass underneath.The station was an early closure, closing in 1896, to be replaced by nearby Huskisson Dock and Nelson Dock, located to the north and south respectively. No trace of this station remains.

Kirkdale is a district of Liverpool, Merseyside, England, and a Liverpool City Council ward that covers both Kirkdale and Vauxhall. At the 2011 Census, the population was 16,115.

Canada Dock station was on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, situated sixteen feet above street level between Canada Branch Dock No.1 dock to its west and the LNWR's Canada Dock goods station to the east; the LNWR's Canada Dock passenger station lay immediately east of the goods station. The station was originally intended for transatlantic passengers, though the dock became a centre for timber trading. It was opened on 6 March 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury. During the December 1940 Liverpool Blitz the station received heavy damage, including a direct hit to track close to the station.The line and station closed on 30 December 1956, being demolished a year later. Nothing remains of the station.

Nelson Dock is a dock on the River Mersey, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern dock system in Vauxhall, connected to Bramley-Moore Dock to the north and Salisbury Dock to the south.
