Brocklebank Dock

Carriers' Dock (or North Carriers' Dock) was a dock on the River Mersey, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. The dock was situated in the northern dock system and connected to Brocklebank Dock to the west.

The Ten Streets is an area of the Vauxhall district in north Liverpool, and is in the northern outskirts of city centre. It takes its name from the ten streets within a designated area alongside Liverpool Docks. It was conceptualized as part of a council redevelopment plan in 2017.

It is situated in the northern dock system in Bootle, connected to Alexandra Dock to the north and Brocklebank Dock to the south. Brocklebank Dock was a railway station on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, adjacent to the dock of the same name. It became particularly busy after Langton Dock station was closed in 1906, with workers of the Langton Dock using it instead.It was opened on 6 March 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury. The station closed, along with the rest of the line on 30 December 1956. No evidence of this station remains.

Canada Dock is a dock on the River Mersey, England, and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern dock system in Kirkdale. Canada Dock consists of a main basin nearest the river wall with three branch docks and a graving dock to the east. It is connected to Brocklebank Dock to the north and Huskisson Dock to the south.

Langton Dock was a railway station on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, adjacent to the dock of the same name. It was opened in May 1896 due to demand from the busy nature of the dock. The station had a hydraulic lift bridge which enabled a section of track to be lifted up to allow large vehicles to pass underneath.The station closed on 5 March 1906. No evidence of this station remains.

Alexandra Dock railway station was located on the Alexandra Dock Branch, in Liverpool, England. The station served Alexandra Dock until the last train on 31 May 1948. Formal closure followed on 26 February 1949.

Alexandra Dock was a station located on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, west of Regent Road (A565) and within the MDHC Dock Estate. The station was named after the adjacent Alexandra Dock. The station was opened on the 6 March 1893 by the Marquis of Salisbury and was the northern terminus of the line until it was extended to Seaforth Sands just over a year later.The station closed, along with the rest of the line, on 30 December 1956. No evidence of this station remains.

The Metropolitan Borough of Sefton is a metropolitan borough of Merseyside, England. It was formed on 1 April 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, by the amalgamation of the county boroughs of Bootle and Southport, the municipal borough of Crosby, the urban districts of Formby and Litherland, and part of West Lancashire Rural District. It consists of a coastal strip of land on the Irish Sea which extends from Southport in the north to Bootle in the south, and an inland part to Maghull in the south-east, bounded by the city of Liverpool to the south, the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley to the south-east, and West Lancashire to the east. It is named after Sefton, near Maghull. When the borough was created, a name was sought that would not unduly identify the borough with any of its constituent parts, particularly the former county boroughs of Bootle and Southport. The area had strong links with both the Earl of Sefton of Croxteth Hall and the Earl of Derby, resident of Knowsley Hall, and the adjacent borough was subsequently named Knowsley. A Sefton Rural District covering some of the villages in the district existed from 1894 to 1932.

Huskisson Dock is a dock on the River Mersey, England, which forms part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern dock system in Kirkdale. Huskisson Dock consists of a main basin nearest the river wall and two branch docks to the east. It is connected to Canada Dock to the north and Sandon Half Tide Dock to the south.
