Bear Creek is a 2.8-mile-long (4.5 km) stream in eastern Sonoma County, California, United States, a tributary of Sonoma Creek.

White Sulphur Springs was considered the oldest warm mineral springs resort facility in Northern California. It was founded in 1852 in the town of St. Helena in the Napa Valley. Most of the structures at the site were destroyed in 2020 in the Glass Fire.

Mount Hood, also known as Hood Mountain is a mountain near the southeastern edge of Santa Rosa, California at the northeast of the Sonoma Valley and attains a height of 2,733 feet (833 m). The original name was Mount Wilikos, an Indian name meaning "willows." Most of the drainage from Mount Hood contributes to the headwaters of Sonoma Creek. A prominent feature is the extensive rock face visible on the upper half of the mountain as viewed from State Route 12. The habitats on the mountain include mixed oak forest, pygmy forest, chaparral and riparian zones. In prehistoric times the slopes of Mount Hood were inhabited by a division of the Yuki tribe. Most of Mount Hood is within the Hood Mountain Regional Park maintained by Sonoma County. Mount Hood is part of the inner coast Mayacamas Range, and lies mostly within Sonoma County, with a part of the mountain geographically within Napa County. Mount Hood affords overlooks of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco Bay and "a spectacular view east to the Sierra Nevada Range."

Kenwood is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Sonoma County, California, located on Sonoma Highway (State Route 12) between the cities of Santa Rosa and Sonoma. It lies east of Sonoma Creek in the upper part of Sonoma Valley, a region sometimes called the Valley of the Moon. Bennett Mountain lies west of the town, and Sugarloaf Ridge to the northeast. The population was 1,028 at the 2010 census. Kenwood is considered part of the Wine Country. Viticulturally, it lies in the Sonoma Valley AVA. The Kenwood area is known for vineyards and wineries, restaurants, and a European-style resort. An area landmark is the Kunde Estate Winery on Sonoma Highway, which was first planted in 1879.

The St. Helena Public Cemetery, at 2461 Spring St. in St. Helena, California, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.It is about one mile west of downtown St. Helena. It was established in 1856 by the Hudson family as a private burial ground, with the burial of Sarah Hudson. It has been expanded since, including by acquisition of land in 1973, and continues as a public cemetery in 2018.

The district includes all of Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Mariposa counties, western El Dorado County, and eastern Stanislaus, Madera and Fresno counties. Cities in the district include most of Modesto, northern Turlock, northern Fresno, Oakdale, Hughson, Riverbank, Sonora, Jackson, and Placerville. It also includes the census-designated places of Mariposa, the County seat of Mariposa County, and El Dorado Hills. It also includes Yosemite National Park and part of Kings Canyon National Park. It is represented by Republican Tom McClintock.From 2013 to 2022, the district was located in the northern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, including Santa Rosa, Vallejo, and most of Wine Country. The district was represented by Mike Thompson, a Democrat.

Kenwood Depot was a railway station in Kenwood, California. It opened in 1887 as South Los Guilicos, and shares some features with the San Carlos station on the San Francisco Peninsula which was built around the same time. The station building was the only stone depot constructed for the Santa Rosa and Carquinez Railroad and cost $11,500 (equivalent to $374,559 in 2022) — tracks were on the east side. The station's name was changed to Kenwood in 1895 with the rest of the town. Rail service continued until 1936, and the rail line was removed in 1942. In 1940, Southern Pacific sold the depot to the Kenwood Improvement Club for $500 (equivalent to $10,444 in 2022) and it was converted into a community center. It was designated a Sonoma County Historic Landmark in 1980.

Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery is a winery in the southern outskirts of St. Helena, California, in the St. Helena AVA of the Napa Valley, in the United States. The estate was established in 1882. The winery is a producer of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. As of 2021, about 40 acres are under cultivation, which typically produces around 5,000 cases of wine per year.

Saint Helena High School or more commonly, St. Helena High, is an American public high school located in St. Helena, California in the Napa Valley of California. St. Helena High serves grades 9-12 and is the only source of secondary education in the St. Helena Unified School District.

Lasseter Family Winery is a winery located in Glen Ellen, Sonoma County, California. The winery was founded in 2000 by Pixar film director John Lasseter and his wife, Nancy Lasseter. The winery, once inhabited by the Grand Cru Winery, produces approximately 1,200 cases of French red wine blends annually, with the capacity to produce up to 6,000.The winery grows Bordeaux and Rhône varietals on 27 acres. One of the Lasseters' winemaking mentors was Jess Jackson, of Kendall-Jackson.

St. Helena Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1866 by Fr. Peter Deyaert, it remains an active congregation in the Diocese of Santa Rosa. The church, like the town and nearby Mount Saint Helena, is dedicated to St Helena of Constantinople. It is noted for its historic parish church located at Oak and Tainter Streets, the third such building used by the parish. Built from 1889 to 1890, the church was constructed with stone, a common building material among early settlers of the Napa Valley. The church was designed in an English Medieval style with a Gothic tower. The church was restored in 1945 after a fire burned its interior; during the renovations, the tower was also redesigned and two sacristies were added. The church is now the only remaining entirely stone church in Napa County.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 23, 1978.
