St. Helena Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1866 by Fr. Peter Deyaert, it remains an active congregation in the Diocese of Santa Rosa. The church, like the town and nearby Mount Saint Helena, is dedicated to St Helena of Constantinople. It is noted for its historic parish church located at Oak and Tainter Streets, the third such building used by the parish. Built from 1889 to 1890, the church was constructed with stone, a common building material among early settlers of the Napa Valley. The church was designed in an English Medieval style with a Gothic tower. The church was restored in 1945 after a fire burned its interior; during the renovations, the tower was also redesigned and two sacristies were added. The church is now the only remaining entirely stone church in Napa County.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 23, 1978.

It was established in 1856 by the Hudson family as a private burial ground, with the burial of Sarah Hudson. It has been expanded since, including by acquisition of land in 1973, and continues as a public cemetery in 2018.

The Pope Street Bridge is a stone bridge carrying Pope Street over the Napa River in St. Helena, California. Built by R. H. Pithie in 1894, the bridge is the oldest stone bridge in Napa County. The triple arch bridge is 175 feet (53 m) long and 18 feet (5.5 m) wide and cost $14,500 to build. The stone used to build the bridge came from a local quarry on Monticello Road near Mount George Grade. The bridge was designed for horse-drawn vehicles but has withstood automobile traffic; it also survived the 1906 San Francisco earthquake without damage.The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 5, 1972.

The winery was shut down in 1920 during Prohibition and remained shuttered until 1976 when they opened their Napa Valley store in St. Helena. The winery was reopened by Dario Sattui, great grandson of Vittorio Sattui. The winery president is Tom Davies.The winery is known for their large retail store and picnic area, which has events such as an annual Harvest Ball. Their wines have received numerous awards and reviews, and are sold exclusively at the winery or online. As of 2013, the winery sold more than 60,000 cases of wine each year.

Rancho Carne Humana was a 17,962-acre (72.69 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Napa County, California, given in 1841 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Edward Turner Bale. The name means "human flesh" in Spanish. There is speculation as to why the name was chosen. The grant was originally known to the native residents as "Huilic Noma" and also "Colijolmanoc". One naming theory speculates that Bale, in a bit of black humor, twisted "Colijolmanoc" into the similar-sounding Spanish "Carne Humana". Rancho Carne Humana was at the northern end of the Napa Valley, stretching from present-day Rutherford northward to Calistoga, ending at Tubbs Lane and including present-day St. Helena.

Beringer Vineyards is a large winery in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1876, Beringer Vineyards is "the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley", and is listed under both the National Register of Historic Places and as a California Historical Landmark. In 1934 it was the first California winery to offer public tours and wine tasting following the repeal of Prohibition. In 1939, Beringer invited attendees of the Golden Gate International Exposition to visit the winery; the winery also invited Hollywood stars including Clark Gable, Charles Laughton, and Carole Lombard to visit.
