Hornsey Road railway station was a station on Hornsey Road, near Finsbury Park, in the London Borough of Islington, which was opened in 1872 by the Tottenham & Hampstead Junction Railway. It was between Upper Holloway and Crouch Hill stations, on the line now known as the Gospel Oak to Barking Line. It was closed in 1943, and demolished soon afterwards. Its closure was due to wartime constraints and its proximity to the neighbouring stations.

The Parkland Walk is a 3.1-mile (5.0 km) linear green pedestrian and cycle route in London, which follows the course of the railway line that used to run between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace, through Stroud Green, Crouch End, Highgate and Muswell Hill. It is often mistakenly described as 4.5 miles long, but even taking in the gap between the two sections it still only totals 3.1 miles (5.0 km). The route follows the bridges and cuttings of the line, but avoids the closed surface section of Highgate station and its adjoining tunnels, which are closed to walkers for safety reasons. The walk is almost all in Haringey, but a short stretch between Crouch Hill and Crouch End Hill is in Islington and this section incorporates Crouch Hill Park.The walk is a local nature reserve and a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. It was declared a local nature reserve in 1990 and is London's longest such reserve. Between Finsbury Park and Highgate, the path forms part of the Capital Ring strategic walking route.

Theatre de l'Ange Fou is a theatre company based in London, England. Its artistic directors are Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum. It was created in Paris in 1984 and relocated to London in 1995. It was co-founded with the International School of Dramatic Corporeal Mime, formerly known as the Ecole de Mime Corporel Dramatique, a theatre school that teaches corporeal mime.

Crouch Hill is a street in north London, England, running between Crouch End and Stroud Green in the boroughs of Haringey and Islington. It is not to be confused with Crouch End Hill which runs between Crouch End and Hornsey Rise. (The two roads meet at a "y" junction in Crouch End and together the two routes constitute the southern access to Crouch End Broadway). The street has a railway station of the same name on the Islington (south) slope of the hill, which is served by the Gospel Oak to Barking line. It is served by London Buses route W7.

Crouch End railway station is a former station in the Crouch End area of north London. It was located between Stroud Green station and Highgate station on Crouch End Hill just north of its junction with Hornsey Lane. The station building was located on the road bridge over the railway but only small parts remain of the structure today.

Tollington Ward is one of sixteen electoral divisions of the London Borough of Islington and is one of the eight that make up the Islington North constituency. The population of this ward at the 2011 Census was 13,211.It is the only other place in the historic parish of Islington mentioned in the Domesday Book (in the old form Tolentone) as a separate manor. The manor house was located beside present day Hornsey Road (known as Tollington Lane as late as 1740) and was purchased in 1271 by the priory of St John at Clerkenwell after which the manor's name fell into disuse.The ward is represented in the Borough's council by three councillors whose elections are held every four years. The ward is a very safe Labour seat, and stayed Labour even during the years when Islington Council was won by the Liberal Democrats. As of January 2022, the councillors are Milk Gilgunn, Anjna Khurana and Flora Williamson.

The City of London Maternity Hospital was a healthcare facility in London. Founded in 1750, was closed and amalgamated with the Obstetric Unit at the Whittington Hospital in 1983.

Hornsey Lane is a road in the London Borough of Haringey, forming part of its border with the London Borough of Islington, and classified as the B540 between Highgate Hill leading to Highgate Village and Crouch End Hill leading to Crouch End. Hornsey Lane crosses the A1 by means of Hornsey Lane Bridge. Hornsey Lane Bridge is infamous as a "suicide bridge" due to a number of suicides being committed here over the years.

The Islington Workhouse was constructed by the West London Union in 1864-5 in Upper Holloway.

City of London Academy Highgate Hill is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the Islington area of London, England.The site of the current school was previously known as Mount Carmel Catholic College for Girls. Mount Carmel was a Roman Catholic, girls-only school. It was originally located in Eden Grove, Holloway before moving to the present location. It school formally closed on 31 August 2017. The next day City of London Academy Highgate Hill opened on the same site. City of London Academy Highgate Hill is a free school sponsored by the City of London Academies Trust.

Crouch Hill railway station is a London Overground station on Crouch Hill in the London Borough of Islington, north London. It is on the Gospel Oak to Barking line, 3 miles 65 chains (6.1 km) from St Pancras (measured via Kentish Town and Mortimer Street Junction) and is situated between Upper Holloway and Harringay Green Lanes. The National Location Code (NLC) for this station is 7406.

The Church Studios is a recording studio located in a former church in Crouch End, North London, England. It was rented and then owned by Dave Stewart in the 1980s and 1990s, and was used to record Eurythmics' sophomore album Sweet Dreams. David Gray acquired ownership in 2004 before UK leading music producer Paul Epworth bought and refurbished the studio in 2013. It has since been used by notable artists such as Adele, Beyoncé, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay and Madonna.
