Upper Holloway is a district in the London Borough of Islington, London, centred on the upper part of Holloway Road and Junction Road. It is served by the Overground at Upper Holloway Station and the Northern Line at Archway Station.

Upper Holloway railway station is in Holloway, north London (N19). It is on the Gospel Oak to Barking Line, 3 miles 0 chains (4.8 km) from St Pancras (measured via Kentish Town and Mortimer Street Junction) and is situated between Gospel Oak and Crouch Hill. It is operated by London Overground, and the service is one train every 15 minutes in each direction except late evenings when it is half-hourly. The line is now electrified, and services are operated by 4 car Class 710 EMUs. The station is a short walk along Holloway Road from Archway on the Northern line. This is currently the most convenient interchange between the two lines, given as 490 yards (450 m) on the tube map and maps inside London Overground trains.

Archway is an area of north London, England, in the London Borough of Islington 3.8 miles (6 km) north of Charing Cross. It straddles the A1 and is named after a local landmark, the high, single-arched Archway Bridge which crossed the road in a cutting to the north. It has a modern commercial hub around Vantage Point (formerly Archway Tower) and Archway tube station.

Hornsey Road railway station was a station on Hornsey Road, near Finsbury Park, in the London Borough of Islington, which was opened in 1872 by the Tottenham & Hampstead Junction Railway. It was between Upper Holloway and Crouch Hill stations, on the line now known as the Gospel Oak to Barking Line. It was closed in 1943, and demolished soon afterwards. Its closure was due to wartime constraints and its proximity to the neighbouring stations.

The Archway Tavern in Archway, London, is on Highgate Hill near Archway tube station. The site has housed pubs since the 1700s, with the current building being built in 1888. At one point, a cable car service up Highgate Hill terminated outside the tavern.In 2014, the Archway Tavern was closed because of a licensing dispute. It was briefly re-opened as the Intrepid Fox, and at one point operated as a venue called Dusk till Dawn, but remained largely closed for several years. In 2020, plans were made to reopen it, following the resolution of licensing issues regarding the pub and its adjacent nightclub. As of 2021, the pub is back to being open full time. During the shutdown, the building was locally listed by Islington Council as "a historic feature and a focal point of the Town Centre" to resist any change of use of the building from being a public house. The building is now owned by the property company Searchgrade Limited, which bought it for £3.8m in 2019.The interior of the pub was used as the cover of The Kinks' studio album Muswell Hillbillies.

Archway is a London Underground station at the intersection of Holloway Road, Highgate Hill, Junction Road and Archway Road in Archway, north London, directly underneath the Vantage Point building. It is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern line, between Highgate and Tufnell Park stations, in Zones 2 and 3.

Whittington Park is a public park in Upper Holloway, North London. Like the nearby Whittington Hospital, it is named after Dick Whittington, and a large topiary cat, in reference to Whittington's legendary pet, stands at the Holloway Road entrance. Amenities include a raised Astroturf football pitch, children's playground, and experimental garden planted as part of an RSPB initiative to investigate the preferred habitat of house sparrows. In 2009 and 2010, renovations were carried out at Whittington Park, including the construction of a new community centre.

Hornsey Lane is a road in the London Borough of Haringey, forming part of its border with the London Borough of Islington, and classified as the B540 between Highgate Hill leading to Highgate Village and Crouch End Hill leading to Crouch End. Hornsey Lane crosses the A1 by means of Hornsey Lane Bridge. Hornsey Lane Bridge is infamous as a "suicide bridge" due to a number of suicides being committed here over the years.
