Multnomah County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) serves the close to 700,000 residents of Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is a County Law Enforcement agency that handles 9-1-1 calls and assists other city agencies such as Portland Police Bureau. The current Sheriff is Nicole Morrisey O'Donnell. The cities of Maywood Park, Wood Village, Fairview, and Troutdale contract out the law enforcement services of Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.The sheriff is elected by popular vote, and oversees a budget of $118 million.

East 122nd Avenue station is a MAX light rail station in Portland, Oregon. It serves the Blue Line and is currently the 16th stop eastbound on the Eastside MAX branch. The MAX system is owned and operated by TriMet, the major transit agency for the Portland metropolitan area. The station is located at the intersection of East Burnside Street and NE/SE 122nd Avenue in Portland's Hazelwood neighborhood. This station has staggered side platforms which are located past the cross street in each direction so that trains can pass through the intersection before stopping. The station was renovated from December 2017 to June 2018, with temporary platforms placed opposite the usual platforms.

Russell lies between Interstate 84 on the north and NE Halsey St. on the south, and between NE 122nd Ave on the west and NE 142nd Ave. on the east. It borders Argay on the north, Wilkes on the east, Hazelwood on the south, and Parkrose Heights on the west. John Luby Park (1985) is located here.

Mill Park is a neighborhood in the outer Southeast section of Portland, Oregon, United States. It borders Hazelwood on the west, north and east, and Powellhurst-Gilbert on the south. In addition to the park of the same name (acquired 1986), the neighborhood includes Midland Park (1986), Stark Street Island (1986), and Floyd Light Park (1985). Portland Parks & Recreation also operates the East Portland Community Center in the neighborhood. Midland Library, servicing Multnomah County, is also located in Mill Park. The neighborhood is home to Fir Ridge Campus, Floyd Light Middle School, and Mill Park Elementary in the David Douglas School District. It is also home to Portland Christian Elementary School. Since 1996, the Mill Park neighborhood has been home to US Senator Jeff Merkley.

David Douglas School District No. 40 is a school district in eastern Portland, Oregon, United States. Its administrative offices are at 11300 NE Halsey St. Portland, OR 97220.The district was formed in 1959 as a consolidation of the Gilbert, Powellhurst, and Russellville elementary school districts and the David Douglas Union High School District. As of 2012, it operates nine elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school with an alternative school campus. It serves more than 10,330 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
