O'Dea High School is a Catholic all boys high school founded in 1923 and is located in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood. The school is named after Edward John O'Dea who was bishop of Seattle when the school was built. O'Dea is a part of the Archdiocese of Seattle. Of its 507 students in four grades in 2020, 60% were Catholics, 58% were Caucasian, 13% were African American, and 19% were multi-racial. There are 36 instructors and the student-teacher ratio is 14 to 1. The tuition at O'Dea High School for the 2019-2020 school year was $16,576; the school provides over $1 million in financial aid every year.

The German House also known as the Assay Office and Prosch Hall is a building in the First Hill area of Seattle, Washington, which since its construction in 1893 has variously functioned as an office block, an entertainment hall and, until 1932, the city's assay office through which most of the gold brought to Seattle from the Yukon gold rush was processed into bricks. Following World War II the building returned to the possession of its previous German-American owners; it continues today to be a popular venue for German-themed events in Seattle. The Henry H. Dearborn House, also known as the Seattle Dearborn House is a single family residence in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. It was designed in 1904 by architect Henry Dozier, and building was completed in 1907 for Seattle real estate developer Henry H. Dearborn. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a Seattle Landmark by the Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board. As of 2021, the building is used as the headquarters of Historic Seattle.The Dearborn house is two and a half stories in an American Foursquare style, with stucco exterior. The house has an enclosed veranda and an out building originally built as stables. In 1953 the house was converted to a medical office, and subsequently into office space.

It is affiliated with Virginia Mason Health System, and is located on the campus of Virginia Mason Medical Center.Much of BRI's research aims to understand how immune cells function and why they malfunction to cause disease.
