St Laurence's Church, Combe Longa is the Church of England parish church of Combe, Oxfordshire, England. The parish is part of the Benefice of Stonesfield with Combe Longa.The Wychwood Way long-distance footpath passes the church.

Combe railway station serves the village of Combe in Oxfordshire, England. It is on the Cotswold Line. This station and all trains serving it are run by Great Western Railway. It was opened as Combe Halt by the Great Western Railway in 1935, originally having two platforms. In 2012, it was equipped with the modern Customer Information display screen now found on most First Great Western stations, plus an automatic train announcement system. The station is about half a mile from the village of Combe (to the NW) and the hamlet of Combe East End (to the NE).

Sturt Copse is a 6.5-hectare (16-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Oxford in Oxfordshire.This wood has many giant stools of coppiced of ash and wych elm trees, together with oaks, some of them pollarded. Most of the ground layer is dominated by dog's mercury, and there are uncommon plants such as yellow star-of-Bethlehem, Lathraea squamaria and hard shield-fern.

North Leigh Roman Villa was a Roman courtyard villa in the Evenlode Valley about 0.5 miles (800 m) north of the hamlet of East End in North Leigh civil parish in Oxfordshire. It is a scheduled monument in the care of English Heritage and is open to the public.It was enlarged over time from the late 1st century AD to the early 5th century and eventually became a very large, luxurious villa rustica with 19 mosaic floors, and included a large agricultural estate with housing for farm workers and possibly slaves. Life there was very comfortable with access to the best local agricultural products and imported luxuries from sophisticated nearby towns such as Cirencester. It remains the only visible and visitable Roman building in Oxfordshire.

The Bell Inn, Long Hanborough is a well-established Grade II listedrestaurant and public house in the village of Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire, England.The Bell borders the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock where Sir Winston Churchill was born. It is approximately 5 miles (8 km) from Witney. It was renovated in 2008, providing an open-plan interior with bar and restaurant. Outside, there are views over the Evenlode Valley. The pub featured in a food riot by women at the turn of the 19th century.Parts of the building date from the seventeenth century, but it has been extended and modified subsequently.

Freeland is a village and civil parish about 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Witney in Oxfordshire. The 2021 Census recorded the parish population as 1,490.

Stonesfield is a village and civil parish about 5 miles (8 km) north of Witney in Oxfordshire, and about 10 miles (17 km) north-west of Oxford. The village is on the crest of an escarpment. The parish extends mostly north and north-east of the village, in which directions the land rises gently and then descends to the River Glyme at Glympton and Wootton about 3 miles (5 km) to the north-east. South of Stonesfield, below the escarpment, is the River Evenlode which touches the southern edge of the parish. At the centre of Stonesfield stands the 13th-century church of St James the Great as well as a Wesleyan chapel, Stonesfield Methodist Church, slightly further west. The village is known for Stonesfield slate, a form of Cotswold stone mined particularly as a roofing stone and also a rich source of fossils. The architecture in Stonesfield features many old Cotswold stone properties roofed with locally mined slate along with some late 20th-century buildings and several properties under construction. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 1,527.

Stonesfield Common, Bottoms and Banks is a 27.45-hectare (67.8-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) south of Stonesfield in Oxfordshire.This site is composed of steeply sloping valleys and banks. Most of it is unimproved Oolithic limestone grassland and scrub, but there is also an area of semi-natural beech-wych elm ancient woodland. This area forms one of the largest remnants of such grassland type in the UK. The five units of Stonesfield Common, Bottoms and Banks SSSI are Church Street, Baggs Bottom, The Common, Stockey Bottom, and the River Evenlode. The site is managed by the Thames Solent area team. The grass in Stonesfield Common is mainly upright brome, and herbs include field scabious, greater knapweed, lady's bedstraw and pyramidal orchid. The main habitats present in the SSSI are broadleaved, mixed and yew woodland lowland, and calcareous grassland. Soils in this site are typically calcareous with stoneless, clayey soils. Fauna in the area includes the small blue butterfly Cupido minimus, colonies of the marbled white Melanargia galathea butterflies, and invertebrate territories such as those of the white-legged damselfly Platycnemis pennipes.

Blenheim Park is a 224.3-hectare (554-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the outskirts of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. It occupies most of the grounds of Blenheim Palace. The park was once an Anglo-Saxon chase and then a twelfth-century deer park. It now has some of the best areas of pasture and oak woodland in the country. The large lakes were created in the eighteenth century, and they are regionally important for breeding and wintering birds. Invertebrates include three rare beetles which are included in the British Red Data Book of Invertebrates, Rhizophagus oblongicollis, Plectophloeus nitidus and Aeletesatomarius.

Hanborough railway station is a railway station in the village of Long Hanborough in Oxfordshire, England, serving the village and surrounding district. As a result of the Cotswold Line being singled the former up platform is the only one now in use for both up and down trains. It is served by Great Western Railway trains between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill. It is also the nearest station to the towns of Woodstock and Witney. There is a passenger-operated ticket machine (card payments only; not cash) at the entrance to the station platform. The station has two car parks, which between them provide 241 car spaces. However, on most weekdays the number of passengers parking at Hanborough exceeds the number of spaces available.Oxford Bus Museum is just east of the station, in the former goods yard.
