Nordstrand Station

Bråten is a tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Bråten in Nordstrand and it was opened on 11 June 1917, as part of the Ekeberg Line to Sæter. There is a balloon loop just after the station. The SL18 trams were tested between Skøyen tram stop and Bråten, in early 2022 as part of Line 13. The section between Sørli tram stop and Bråten was upgraded in 2012, and Bråten itself was upgraded in 2013.

Kastellet is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Kastellet in Nordstrand, the station is situated between Sørli and Bråten. It was opened on 11 June 1917. It is served by lines 13 and 19 and is served by both SL79 and SL95 trams. There is also a bus stop which is served by routes 75A and 75B of Ruter's bus network. It is approximately 100 metres away from the tram stop. There is a shelter at the station, which was built in the 1990s, along with many other stations on the Ekeberg Line. It is a copy of Erik Glosimodt's original art nouveau style.

Ljan Station (Norwegian: Ljan stasjon) is a railway station on the Østfold Line. It is located in the Ljan neighborhood in the Nordstrand borough of Oslo, Norway. Situated 7.15 kilometers (4.44 mi) from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), it features two side platforms. Hauketo is served by the Line L2 of the Oslo Commuter Rail, providing two services each hour. The station was one of the original stations on the Østfold Line, and opened on 2 January 1879. The original station was designed by Peter Andreas Blix. Commuter trains started running to Ljan in 1883, and had for many years the station as their terminus. The line through Ljan was moved during the 1920 and converted to double track. Ljan Station received a new station building in 1923, designed in Neoclassic by Gerhard Fischer, including an underpass with entrances. The station is listed as a cultural heritage site.

Sæter is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Nordstrand, it was the terminus of the Ekeberg Line when it was opened in 1917 by AS Ekebergbanen in cooperation with Kristiania Sporveisselskab. In 1941 the Ekeberg Line was extended to Ljabru, the current terminus. Until 1967, the stretch between Sæter and Ljabru was the only single track rail in Oslo.Sæter is a key word in John Buchan's novel "The Three Hostages".

Lambertseter (pronunciation ) is a suburb of the city of Oslo, Norway, and is part of the borough of Nordstrand.Lambertseter was built over a short period starting from 1951, and was the very first modern suburb of Oslo. A Tram line was built to the neighborhood in 1957 and the Oslo T-bane metro system came in 1966, serving the Lambertseter station. Lambertseter was also the name of a borough of Oslo until 1 January 2004. Lambertseter also has a multi-use sports Stadium.

Ulvøya is an inhabited island in the inner part of Oslofjord, in the municipality of Oslo. It is located east of the island Malmøya and west of the mainland at Nordstrand. A bridge over the strait Ulvøysundet connects the island to the mainland. The island covers an area of 0.3 square kilometres (0.12 sq mi).

In demographic statistics Oslo is usually divided into an eastern and a western part. As Nordstrand differs significantly from its bordering boroughs, it is often considered as belonging to the western part even though it is geographically located in the eastern part. Solveien, Nordstrand's most famous road, has been one of Oslo's most expensive addresses since the early 20th century. Nordstrand Church is a church in Oslo, Norway. The church was consecrated in 1866 as Østre Aker Chapel and was later renamed Sæter Chapel. In 1905 the Nordstrand congregation was established, and the following year the church changed its name again to Nordstrand Church. The church was built in red brick in neo-Gothic style by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. In 1886 a sacristy was added, and in 1935 it was extended and given a new church tower to the west, drawn by architect Georg Greve. The last and largest expansion took place in 2014 to 2015. Then the church was extended 26 meters to the east and the church congregation got new facilities in the basement. The number of seats in the church room was increased from approx. 300 to 480. Architects for the remodeling work were Are Meinich and Trine-Lise Sonne. The church was reconsecrated on Sunday, August 23, 2015, by bishop of Oslo Ole Christian Kvarme.The church is surrounded by a cemetery.The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage has listed Nordstrand Church as a church site, and approved the recent renovations and extensions.

Ljan Church (Norwegian: Ljan kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the district of Nordstrand in Oslo, Norway. The church was consecrated on 10 April 1932 and is shrouded by pine trees on a hill. Later a parish center was built just below. The architectural style is neo-Romanesque and medieval inspired. There are no signs of modernism. The architect was Olav Olson (1879-1945).It is a relatively small church in stone. The church tower is at the entrance. The choir is narrow. It has two sacristies. The roof is covered with copper plates. Sculptor Trygve Dammen (1900-1973) made the pulpit and baptismal font, a wooden sculpture and created wooden sculptures under the ceiling. There are stained glass in all the windows, composed by artist Rolf Klemetsrud (1900-1956). Wrought Iron works in windows and altar ring is by Karl Bilgrei (1898-1990). The crucifix over the main entrance is made by Halfdan Davidsen. The two church bells are made by Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry in Tønsberg.Ljan Church is listed as protected by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.

Holtet is a light rail/tram stop on the Ekeberg line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Holtet in Ekeberg, in the borough of Nordstrand, in Oslo, Norway. It was opened on 11 June 1917 by A/S Ekebergbanen and has a balloon loop. The station is served by lines 13 and 19. Holtet also has a tram depot nearby.

Ljabru is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Ljabru in Nordstrand, it is the current terminus of the Ekeberg Line. It was opened on 17 September 1941 as an extension of that line from Sæter. Until 1967, the stretch between Sæter and Ljabru was the only single track rail in Oslo. A bridge that is located between Ljabru and Sæter was still single track until it was expanded in 2014. This was the last part of the tramway network to be upgraded to double track.
