Ulvøya (Oslo)

Ormøy Church is a church on the island of Ormøya in Oslo, Norway. It was built of wood in 1893 and has 200 seats. The church is listed by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage. The architectural drawings was made by the German architect Bernhard Steckmest and built in a log technique, characterized by gothic and Swiss chalet style. The outer walls are painted red, while the interior is stained brown and oiled. The pictures of the Four Evangelists are recessed in the pulpit and was painted by Trygve Torkildsen. The small church organ was made in 1924. On the night of September 19, 1992, the church was set on fire, but a quick reaction from a watchman prevented the church from burning down.

Bekkelaget is a neighborhood in the borough Nordstrand in Oslo, Norway. Originally, Bekkelaget was the maritime area south of Oslo city, in Aker municipality adjacent to the Bunnefjorden. With the opening of the Østfold Line, Bekkelaget station was opened, and the elevated area between Ekeberg and Nordstrand was built up and more densely populated. This area was called Bekkelagshøgda, while the maritime area became known as Nedre Bekkelaget. This area is separated by Ormsund with Ormøya. Until 2004 Bekkelaget and adjacent Ekeberg constituted its own borough, Ekeberg-Bekkelaget. Bekkelaget is known nationwide for the sports club Bækkelagets SK. The local rowing club is Ormsund RK.

Bekkelaget Station (Norwegian: Bekkelaget stasjon) was a railway station on the Østfold Line. It was located at Nedre Bekkelaget in the Nordstrand borough of Oslo, Norway. It was originally situated 3.34 kilometers (2.08 mi) from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) and received a station building designed by Peter Andreas Blix. It was named Bækkelaget until 1921. Bekkelaget was used as a commuter station. With the arrival of the railway, the lower portions of Bekkelaget could be built out with housing. After the Bekkelaget Slide on 7 October 1953 resulted in the Bekkelaget Tunnel being built past the station. It opened on 7 September 1958. At the same time the station was moved 460 meters (1,510 ft) southwards, so the southern mouth of the tunnel. The station was closed on 29 May 1983.

Ormøya is an inhabited island in the inner part of Oslofjord, in the municipality of Oslo. It is located north of the island Malmøya and west of the mainland at Bekkelaget / Nordstrand. A bridge over the strait Ormsundet connects the island to the mainland. The island covers an area of 0.18 square kilometres (0.069 sq mi) Ormøy Church, designed by architect Bernhard Steckmest, was built in the 1890s. On the island there are beaches, boating ports and a small park. Ormøya belonged to Aker kommune before Aker was incorporated in Oslo in 1948.: 137 

Nordstrand Station (Norwegian: Nordstrand stasjon) is a railway station on the Østfold Line. It is located in the Nordstrand borough of Oslo, Norway. Situated 5.95 kilometers (3.70 mi) from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), it features an island platform. Nordstrand is served by the Line L2 of the Oslo Commuter Rail, providing two services each hour. The station opened on 31 May 1880, a year after the Østfold Line. The station allowed the area to be opened up for residences and commuting. As traffic grew, a station building was erected around 1895. The station and line past the station was upgraded during the 1920. The station has been unstaffed since 1970. It was the site of the Nordstrand Accident on 3 October 1993.

Jomfrubråten is a residential area of Nordstrand in Oslo, Norway. It is located approximately 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) away from the city centre. The area was disintegrated from Ekeberg in 1920, and made a residential area when the Ekeberg Line opened in 1917. A station with the same name serves the area on the Ekeberg Line, and formerly on the Simensbråten Line, but the latter line was closed in 1967.

Sørli is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Sørli in Nordstrand, the station is situated between Holtet and Kastellet. It was opened on 11 June 1917. The station is served by lines 13 and 19.

The Bekkelaget Tunnel (Norwegian: Bekkelagstunnelen) is a 578-meter (1,896 ft) long railway tunnel which carries two tracks of the Østfold Line past Bekkelaget in Oslo, Norway. Construction started 14 April 1955, after a landslide on 3 October 1953 had caused damage to the railway. The tunnel was built to allow for space for the road of Mosseveien. The tunnel opened on 7 October 1958. Bekkelaget Station was located on the section of track which was closed, and a new station was built at the southern mouth. It closed on 29 May 1983.

Sportsplassen is a tram stop on the Ekeberg Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located near Sportsplassen in Ekeberg, in the borough of Nordstrand, in Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 11 June 1917 as part of the Ekeberg Line to Sæter. The station is served by lines 13 and 19, using both SL79 and SL95 trams.

Holtet is a light rail/tram stop on the Ekeberg line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Holtet in Ekeberg, in the borough of Nordstrand, in Oslo, Norway. It was opened on 11 June 1917 by A/S Ekebergbanen and has a balloon loop. The station is served by lines 13 and 19. Holtet also has a tram depot nearby.

Sportsplassen ("The Sports Field") is a multi-use stadium in Nordstrand, Oslo, Norway. It is currently used mostly for track and field meets and football matches, both under the auspices of Bækkelagets SK. The 400-metre athletics track was inaugurated in 2012.It is served by the station Sportsplassen on the Oslo Tramway.

Kastellet is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Kastellet in Nordstrand, the station is situated between Sørli and Bråten. It was opened on 11 June 1917. It is served by lines 13 and 19 and is served by both SL79 and SL95 trams. There is also a bus stop which is served by routes 75A and 75B of Ruter's bus network. It is approximately 100 metres away from the tram stop. There is a shelter at the station, which was built in the 1990s, along with many other stations on the Ekeberg Line. It is a copy of Erik Glosimodt's original art nouveau style.
