Aculco is a station along Line 8 of the metro of Mexico City. It is located under the bridge where the Trabajadoras Sociales (Eje 6 Sur) passes over the Eje 3 Ote in the Colonia Pueblo Aculco neighborhood of the Iztapalapa borough of Mexico City. The station's logo is a water wave in a canal. In Nahuatl it means "where the water twists". The name is also the name of the Aculco municipipality in the State of Mexico.

Atlalilco in Nahuatl means: "where water is kept". It opened for service along Line 8 on 20 July 1994. The distance of the interstation tunnel is about 800 m (2,625 ft) long because the original plan for a transfer station to be named Axomulco was canceled. The interstation tunnel runs underground through Calzada Ermita Iztapalapa and Avenida Tlahuac, with an additional access to the station at the intersection of both avenues. It is the only station that has mechanical bands to assist in the interstation walk.

Iztapalapa (modern Nahuatl pronunciation ) is a borough (demarcación territorial) in Mexico City, located on the east side of the entity. The borough is named after and centered on the formerly independent municipality of Iztapalapa, which is officially called Iztapalapa de Cuitláhuac for disambiguation purposes. The rest is made up of a number of other communities which are governed by the city of Iztapalapa. With a population of 1.8 million as of 2010, Iztapalapa is the most populous borough of Mexico City, and it is also the most populous municipality in the country. Over 90% of its territory is urbanized. The borough transitioned from a rural area with some farms and canals as late as the 1970s, to an area with the only green areas in parks and almost all of its people employed in commerce, services and industry. This is the result of a large influx of people into the borough starting from the 1970s and which still continues. Iztapalapa remains afflicted by high levels of economic deprivation, and a significant number of its residents lack access to clean drinking water. Iztapalapa has one of the highest rates of violent crime in Mexico City, and combatting homicides and drug trafficking remain a major issue for local authorities.The borough is home of one of Mexico City's major cultural events, the annual Passion Play in which 450 borough residents participate and about 2 million attend as spectators.

The Carnivals of Iztapalapa are various Carnival celebrations in the Mexico City borough of Iztapalapa. They are what remain of Carnival celebrations brought to Mexico City by the Spanish but subsequently suppressed by Inquisition authorities. There are individual celebrations in various communities, but for the close of Carnival, these communities come together for an event that can draw up to 200,000 people.

The 37th federal electoral district of the Federal District (Distrito electoral federal 37 del Distrito Federal) is a defunct federal electoral district of Mexico. Occupying a portion of what is today Mexico City, it was in existence from 1978 to 1996. During that time, it returned one deputy to the Chamber of Deputies for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system, electing its first in the 1979 mid-terms and its last in the 1994 general election. Votes cast in the district also counted towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the country's electoral regions. The 31st to 40th districts were abolished in the Federal Electoral Institute's 1996 redistricting process because the capital's population no longer warranted that number of seats in Congress.

It was constructed to be the meeting point for producers, wholesalers, retailers and consumers for the entire country. Located in the eastern borough of Iztapalapa, it is the most important commercial establishment in Mexico and the largest of its kind in the world. The market handles over 30,000 tons of merchandise daily, representing 80% of the consumption of the Mexico City metropolitan area. The market was established on former farmland to ease congestion in the historic center of Mexico City.

Iztacalco is a station along Line 8 of the Mexico City Metro.Iztacalco is in the borough of the same name, in Mexico City. Its logo represents the monastery of San Matías, the first church on Calzada de la Viga. The Nahuatl toponym Iztacalco means "in the house of salt". The station was opened on 20 July 1994.Like the other stations on this stretch of Line 8, Iztacalco stands on Avenida Francisco del Paso y Troncoso (eje 3 Ote). It also connected with trolleybus line "M", which runs between INFONAVIT Iztacalco residential estate and Metro Villa de Cortés. This station is the closest to the Colegio de Bachilleres Plantel 3 "Iztacalco".

Servicio de Transportes Eléctricos de la Ciudad de México (STE) (Spanish for Electric Transport Service of Mexico City) is a public transport agency responsible for the operation of all trolleybus and light rail services in Mexico City. As its name implies, its routes use only electrically powered vehicles. It was created on 31 December 1946 and is owned by the Mexico City government. STE is overseen by a broader Federal District authority, Secretaría de Transportes y Vialidad (STV, or Setravi) (Secretariat of Transportation and Highways), which also regulates the city's other public transport authorities, including Sistema de Transporte Colectivo (STC, the Mexico City Metro system), Red de Transporte de Pasajeros del Distrito Federal (RTP, diesel bus network) and Metrobús, as well as other forms of transportation in the district. STE's passenger vehicle fleet consists exclusively of trolleybuses, light rail, and aerial lift vehicles, and in 2007 its network carried 88 million passengers, of which 67 million were on trolleybus services and 21 million on light rail.
