Mölndal

Fässberg Parish is a parish in the Diocese of Gothenburg in Sweden. It covers most of the town of Mölndal.

Dugges Ale- & Porterbryggeri (Dugge's Ale & Porter Brewery) is a brewery in Landvetter outside Gothenburg, Sweden. The brewery was started in 2005 by Mikael Dugge Engström and is focused on top-fermented beers, influenced by US micro breweries. The ales are brewed with much hops, such as Chinook, giving them a strong and pleasant aroma. The brewery is very active in inventing new types of beer and usually has many test batches for sale. The brewery has won several medals in competitions. For instance gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival. In 2007 the brewery purchased a bottling machine in addition to previously sold barrels. The beer is sold at several bars and restaurants in Sweden as well as at Systembolaget. In 2012 the brewery expanded through purchase of new brewery equipment and moving into new larger premises.

Åby Racetrack (Swedish: Åbytravet) is a horse racing track located in Mölndal, 10 km south of Gothenburg, Sweden.Åby was opened in 1936 as a track for harness racing as well as thoroughbred racing. Since October 1976, the track has been dedicated to harness racing solely.Åby is the second biggest track for harness racing in Sweden. The length of the track is 1,000 meters.

Hills Golf Club is a golf club located in Mölndal near Gothenburg, Sweden. It hosted the Nordea Masters in August 2018, a European Tour event.

Delsjö Golf Club is a golf club located 3 km south of central Gothenburg, Sweden. It has hosted the Delsjö Ladies Open and Gothenburg Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour.

Kallebäck is one of 8 districts in Örgryte borough, Gothenburg, Sweden. The name Kallebäck means "The brook with the cauldron" and the name dates back to 1496. The buildings in Kallebäck mostly consists of apartment buildings built between 1960 and 1970. The buildings in the north part of Kallebäck are generally lower, with only 3-4 floors. The buildings nearer to the highway E6 are higher: 12 floors. As part of Bostad2021, 1800 apartments are being built, with move in dates ranging from 2021 to 2027, along Smörgatan. The area also has a 14 stories high building, named Ostkupan [1] ("The cheese cover") with about 360 students, and its own pub in the basement. The population mostly belong to the middle class, and most of them are retired or students. All streetnames in Kallebäck are named after dairy products.

World of Volvo is an experience center owned by Volvo Cars and Volvo Group, located in Gothenburg. The site was previously home to Saab's gearbox factory.

Delsjön consist of two coherent lakes, Stora Delsjön and Lilla Delsjön, located in eastern Gothenburg, in the Delsjöområdet nature reserve. They serve as a reservoir for the city, receiving water from the Göta River. At the shore of Stora Delsjön there is a popular beach.

Balder is a wooden roller coaster at the Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, Sweden. It opened in 2003 and was an instant success. Balder is very different from a traditional wooden roller coaster because it is a prefabricated wooden roller coaster. This means that instead of trackers cutting, shaping, and laying down the track on site by hand, the track is laser cut in a factory. This means that the track is manufactured to a higher degree of precision than could ever be achieved by hand. The track is also made so that it snaps together like Lego pieces. The track also is made of more layers of wood that are tightly bonded together instead of nailed together by hand like a traditional wooden roller coaster. This has three major benefits, two being to the park and the other being to the riders.The "Plug and Play" aspect of the coaster speeds construction of the coaster since track does not have to be completely manufactured on site. In addition, because of the speed of construction, the costs of building the coaster are lowered due to less man-hours spent on the construction. The riders benefit from a coaster, that while being wooden, is near steel smooth. However, some roller coaster enthusiasts may find that aspect to take away from the ride since it would not have the same character as a traditional wooden roller coaster. Balder is praised by many roller coaster enthusiasts around the world, and is said to be one of the best roller coasters in Europe. Three other prefabricated wooden roller coasters currently exist, Colossos at Heide Park, El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, and T Express in Everland.

Balders Hage was a ballcourt and public square in the centre of Gothenburg, Sweden. The ballcourt was inaugurated on 1 January 1898 but was abandoned in 1909 when Walhalla IP was built. The club Örgryte IS was founded in Balders Hage, and played some of their matches there. Balders Hage is now part of the amusement park Liseberg, and the roller coaster Balder is located where Balders Hage once was.

Valkyria is a steel Dive Coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard operating at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, Sweden. Opened on 10 August 2018, it is Europe's longest and tallest Dive Coaster. The name Valkyria is derived from the Norse mythology creature Valkyrie, a mythological creature that brought fallen warriors to the afterlife.
