Augsburg Airways was a regional airline from Germany. A member of Team Lufthansa and its successor Lufthansa Regional, it operated feeder services at Munich Airport on behalf of Lufthansa.

Munich Airport Terminal station (German: Bahnhof München Flughafen Terminal) is a Munich S-Bahn terminal station at Munich Airport at the end of the Munich East–Munich Airport railway. It is connected to the city by lines and . The ride takes approximately 45 minutes to the Marienplatz station in the city centre. Munich Airport station is located in a tunnel beneath the central area. A second station, Besucherpark (Visitors' Park) connects the cargo and maintenance areas, long-term parking, administrative buildings and the name-giving Visitors' Park. A second tunnel beneath the terminals is currently unused. Originally, there were plans to use it for intercity railway, then for a Transrapid maglev train making the trip to München Hauptbahnhof in 10 minutes. However, this project was cancelled in March 2008 due to cost escalation.

Munich Airport (German: Flughafen München), also named Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport, (IATA: MUC, ICAO: EDDM) is an international airport serving Munich and Upper Bavaria. It has two passenger terminals with an additional midfield terminal, two runways as well as extensive cargo and maintenance facilities and is fully equipped to handle wide-body aircraft including the Airbus A380.

Hallbergmoos station is a railway station on the Munich S-Bahn in the town of Hallbergmoos in the northeast area of Munich, Germany. It is served by the S-Bahn line S8.

The Hilton Munich Airport (until 31 December 2014 Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich) is a hotel located on the grounds of Munich Airport, between Terminals 1 and 2, near the Munich Airport Center business facility. Following a construction period of 20 months, the hotel opened on 17 May 1994, two years after the airport went into operation. The architect of the hotel is German-born Helmut Jahn of the Chicago-based Murphy/Jahn Architectural Group. The hotel's grand plaza is a 24- metre high and 1400 square metre large atrium hall with a glass roof and decorated with palm trees (18 metres tall) from Florida. Green cubes and grown-over pyramid shapes continue the outer landscape surrounding the airport. On 1 January 2015, the hotel was taken over by Hilton Hotels & Resorts. In March 2017, a 7-story extension building was completed adding 162 rooms spanning over 6 floors and new office spaces on the first floor. The existing office facilities on the ground floor of the old building were converted into conference facilities.

The Neufahrn Link (German: Neufahrner Spange) is a double-track and electrified main line in the German state of Bavaria. It connects Neufahrn bei Freising station on the Munich–Regensburg railway with Munich Airport.

The Erching transmitter was a longwave broadcasting facility of the Voice of America, established in 1953 near Erching, Bavaria, Germany. The transmitter used a 256-metre-high (840 ft) guyed-steel-framework mast aerial, at the time of its inauguration the most powerful radio station in the world, with a transmitting power of 1000 kilowatts on 173 kHz. In 1973 the transmitter was shut down because of a relaxed political climate. In 1979 it was used for LORAN-D tests. The German Federal Post received a new frequency of 151 kHz for this transmitter and used it for broadcasting the programming of Deutschlandfunk. Because directional radiation was required at night time, a second aerial mast had to be erected. This was impossible because of the then-planned new Munich International Airport (opened in 1992), so the transmitter had to be shut down at night time. A new transmitter site was consequently placed at Aholming in 1985. After the completion of this new transmitter, Erching tower was shut down and dismantled. Presently, the property is privately owned and let for film and photography.
