St. Mark's Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod in Elberta, Alabama established in 1908. It is noted for its historic church on the east side CR 83, which was built in 1927 and added to National Register of Historic Places in 1988.The congregation was formed in 1908 by Reverend W. C. Kohn of Chicago, and originally held services in German, as the original settlers of Elberta were German immigrants. German language services in the church continued until 1977. The congregation was headed by Reverend Keith Ringers as of 1988.

Miflin is an unincorporated community in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. Miflin is located along County Route 20 (Miflin Road) 5 miles (8.0 km) east-southeast of Foley. The Swift Presbyterian Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in Miflin. A post office operated under the name Miflin from 1907 to 1951. The community is likely named after the Miflin family, who owned land in the area.

Swift Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church on Swift Church Road in Miflin, Alabama. It was built in 1905 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.The church began construction in 1905 with materials donated by local lumber merchant and eventual church elder C.A. Swift. The building completed construction in 1907 and the congregation was formally organized in 1910. The church was named in Swift’s honor in 1924.

Its boundaries originally encompassed parts of Alston St., North and South McKenzie St., U.S. Route 98, East and West Laurel Ave., Myrtle Ave., Rose Ave., and West Orange Ave. until a boundary decrease on June 4, 2012. The boundary was extended in 2019.

The school is well known for its marching and concert band, "The Mighty Band from Lion Land," which has won a Grammy. The band has been winning superior ratings at competitions in the United States since the 1970s and has performed at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago, the Daytona 500 race, the Fiesta Bowl parade, and many more places over its long history.

Foley Municipal Airport was opened to the public on February, 1967 replacing the earlier airport to the east of town near the present location of Barin NOLF.

Perdido Beach is a town located on the northern shore of Perdido Bay, between the mouths of Soldier Creek and Palmetto Creek in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. In an April 2009 plebiscite, over 60% of local voters supported incorporation as a town. On June 10, 2009, Baldwin County Probate Judge Adrian Johns issued an order which incorporated the area as a town. The first municipal elections, in which the mayor and town council will be elected, were scheduled for the fall of 2009. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 581.Perdido Beach is part of the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metropolitan area.

Summerdale is a rural town in south-central Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. It is the site of the Naval Outlying Landing Field Summerdale. At the 2020 census, the population was 1,468. It is part of the Daphne–Fairhope–Foley Metropolitan Statistical Area.
