Calgary-Cross is a current provincial electoral district in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Created in 1993, the district is one of 87 districts mandated to return a single member (MLA) to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post method of voting. The district was created in the 1993 boundary redistribution from Calgary-McCall and Calgary-Montrose, and present boundaries covers the neighbourhoods of Whitehorn, Temple, Pineridge and Rundle in northeast Calgary.

Rundle Station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta. It is a stop on the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original line. The station is located in the median of 36 Street NE, to the north of the intersection of 20 Avenue NE/Rundlehorn Drive, right in front of Sunridge Mall. The station is 8.4 km from the City Hall Interlocking. Pedestrian overpasses connect the station to both sides of 36 Street NE. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the centre-loading platform. The station serves Rundle and the Sunridge Mall with 350 parking spaces are included across the station. As part of Calgary Transit's plan to operate 4-car trains by the end of 2014, all 3-car platforms are being extended. In addition to a platform extension, Rundle station had upgraded station furnishings installed. Construction was completed in Fall 2013.In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 11,600 boardings per weekday.On January 20, 1993, a 4-year-old child, Michael MacIntosh, got his jacket sleeve stuck at the bottom of the escalator after straying from his family. Bystanders helped him stay conscious until paramedics arrived and free his injured left arm, this was later seen on Rescue 911 on May 4, 1993, on CBS.

Sunridge Mall is a major enclosed shopping mall in Calgary, Alberta containing 830,599 square feet / 77,165 m² of retail space. It is in the city's northeast quadrant, located at the corner of 36 Street NE and 20 Avenue NE, adjacent to the Rundle LRT station, sunridge Spectrum Movie Theatre, and the Peter Lougheed Centre. Sunridge Mall is owned and operated by Primaris Management Inc, a division of H&R REIT. Originally opened in October 1981, Sunridge Mall completed a $50 million renovation and expansion program.

Whitehorn station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the Northeast Line (Route 202). The station opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original Northeast line terminus until another extension, McKnight-Westwinds first opened on December 17, 2007. The station is located in the median of 36 Street NE, immediately to the north of Whitehorn Drive. The station is 9.8 km from the City Hall Interlocking. The station serves the community of Whitehorn and is adjacent to Horizon Industrial Park. 824 parking spaces are also included at the station. A small bus loop is located on the west side of the station, and was a major hub for bus routes connecting Calgary's far northeastern communities to the CTrain prior to the 2007 extension to McKnight-Westwinds. As of November 2018, this bus loop is no longer in use. Pedestrian overpasses connect the station to both sides of 36 Street NE. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the center-loading platform. As of 2011, there is now a grade-level access at the South end of the platform as well. In 2005, the station registered an average transit of 17,400 boardings per weekday.Whitehorn station has undergone renovations to accommodate 4 car trains and add a second platform entrance at Whitehorn Drive NE as well as upgrades to the station interior. Construction began in the Summer of 2010 and was completed in August 2011.

Bay River College (formerly Evergreen College Calgary) is a Canadian private career college located in Calgary, Alberta. The college is a member of the Alberta Association of Career Colleges and the National Association of Career Colleges. Founded in 2014 as Evergreen College Calgary, the institute was rebranded as Bay River College in 2018. It is bounded by 32 Avenue NE to the north, 16 Avenue NE (Trans-Canada Highway) to the south, 52 Street NE to the east and 36 Street NE to the west. The Sunridge Mall is located immediately west of the neighbourhood. Rundle is home to a large Lebanese group. Rundle was established in 1973 and was named after Robert Terrill Rundle, a missionary who worked in Western Canada in the mid-19th century. (Rundle is actually one of four communities built in the 1970s in NE Calgary. These four communities together are known as "The Properties", and all four were named after nearby mountains: Mounts Rundle, Pineridge, Whitehorn and Temple). It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is served by the Rundle station of the C-Train LRT system. The postal code in this area is T1Y.

It is bounded by McKnight Boulevard to the north, 52 Street NE to the east, 32 Avenue NE to the south and 36 Street NE to the west. The Peter Lougheed Centre is located southwest from the neighbourhood. The area was annexed by the City of Calgary in 1961 and the community was established in 1973. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is served by the Whitehorn station of the C-Train LRT system. The postal code in this area is T1Y. Whitehorn also has a number of public schools in the area, including Annie Gale Junior High School and J. Fred Scott School for K-6.

Marlborough Station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta. It serves the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original northeast line. The station is located in the median of 36 Street NE, located near its intersection with 8 Avenue NE/Marlborough Drive NE. The station is 6.5 km (4.0 mi) from the City Hall Interlocking and is located near Calgary's Marlborough neighborhood and also serves nearby businesses along 36 Street NE, including Marlborough Mall. Pedestrian overpasses connect the station to both sides of 36 Street NE. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the center-loading platform. 485 spaces of the mall facility are now owned by Calgary Transit and are designated for park-and-ride service. As part of Calgary Transit's plan to operate 4-car trains by the end of 2014, all 3-car platforms have been extended. Marlborough station saw new furnishings in addition to a platform extension. Construction started in the late Summer of 2013, and was finished in January 2014. In 2005, the station registered an average transit of 19,600 boardings per weekday, the busiest station in the system other than the downtown platforms.

Marlborough Mall is a shopping mall located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Opened in November 1971, the mall has expanded several times and today includes approximately 100 stores and services, and encompasses over 584,000 square feet. The mall also featured a Safeway until the 1990s, when the store moved to its own location west of 36th Street.The current anchor store is Wal-Mart, as Sears closed its doors in March 2017.

Marlborough was established in 1967, and was named after Marlborough, England. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is very diverse and has residents from a variety of cultural backgrounds. There is a significantly large Black, Filipino, Arab and Chinese population in the neighbourhood. The postal code in this area is T2A.
