Marlborough Mall is a shopping mall located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Opened in November 1971, the mall has expanded several times and today includes approximately 100 stores and services, and encompasses over 584,000 square feet. The mall also featured a Safeway until the 1990s, when the store moved to its own location west of 36th Street.The current anchor store is Wal-Mart, as Sears closed its doors in March 2017.

Father Lacombe High School is a Catholic senior high school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, named after Father Albert Lacombe. It has classes for grades 10 to 12 and is located in the southeast quadrant community of Radisson Heights, Calgary.

Marlborough is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by the 16 Avenue NE (Trans-Canada Highway) to the north, 52 Street NE to the east, Memorial Drive to the south and 36 Street NE to the west. The community is served by the Marlborough station of the C-Train LRT system, and Marlborough Mall is located in the southwest corner of the neighbourhood. Marlborough was established in 1967, and was named after Marlborough, England. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is very diverse and has residents from a variety of cultural backgrounds. There is a significantly large Black, Filipino, Arab and Chinese population in the neighbourhood. The postal code in this area is T2A.

Calgary-East (formally styled Calgary East) is a provincial electoral district in Alberta, Canada. The district is mandated to return a single member to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Calgary-East has existed twice, the first incarnation was created from Calgary North East in the redistribution of 1963. The riding was abolished in 1971 when it became Calgary-McCall. The return of Calgary-East happened in the 1993 boundary redistribution when Calgary-Forest Lawn and half of Calgary-Millican were merged. This riding covers the central north east portion of Calgary and contains the neighbourhoods of Vista Heights, Rundle, Marlborough and Mayland Heights. Three MLAs have held this riding to date. The first Calgary East was represented by Social Credit MLA Albert Ludwig and the second Calgary-East solidly supported Progressive Conservative candidate Moe Amery, until the 2015 Alberta election when the riding was won by NDP candidate Robyn Luff.

Albert Park/Radisson Heights is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the west by the Bow River and Deerfoot Trail, to the north by Memorial Drive and to the south by 17 Avenue SE. The community of Forest Lawn lies to the east. This community, established in 1910, enjoys ample open space, is well provided with public and separate schools, has good access to shopping and citywide transportation routes, and has views of the Bow River Valley, the Downtown and the Canadian Rockies. The community has an area redevelopment plan in place and is part of the International Avenue Business Revitalization Zone. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 9 councillor.

Forest Heights is a residential community in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Forest Heights is represented under Ward 9. Forest Heights is not to be confused with Forest Lawn, which sits directly to the south of the community. These two communities are listed as distinct identities from one-another by the City of Calgary. The community is apart of an group of communities known as the Greater Forest Lawn area, with the term coming from the former town of Forest Lawn which used to exist in the area prior to being annexed by the city of Calgary. Other communities in this area include Forest Lawn, Southview, Penbrooke Meadows, Dover, and Red Carpet.

Sunridge Mall is a major enclosed shopping mall in Calgary, Alberta containing 830,599 square feet / 77,165 m² of retail space. It is in the city's northeast quadrant, located at the corner of 36 Street NE and 20 Avenue NE, adjacent to the Rundle LRT station, sunridge Spectrum Movie Theatre, and the Peter Lougheed Centre. Sunridge Mall is owned and operated by Primaris Management Inc, a division of H&R REIT. Originally opened in October 1981, Sunridge Mall completed a $50 million renovation and expansion program.

Rundle Station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta. It is a stop on the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original line. The station is located in the median of 36 Street NE, to the north of the intersection of 20 Avenue NE/Rundlehorn Drive, right in front of Sunridge Mall. The station is 8.4 km from the City Hall Interlocking. Pedestrian overpasses connect the station to both sides of 36 Street NE. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the centre-loading platform. The station serves Rundle and the Sunridge Mall with 350 parking spaces are included across the station. As part of Calgary Transit's plan to operate 4-car trains by the end of 2014, all 3-car platforms are being extended. In addition to a platform extension, Rundle station had upgraded station furnishings installed. Construction was completed in Fall 2013.In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 11,600 boardings per weekday.On January 20, 1993, a 4-year-old child, Michael MacIntosh, got his jacket sleeve stuck at the bottom of the escalator after straying from his family. Bystanders helped him stay conscious until paramedics arrived and free his injured left arm, this was later seen on Rescue 911 on May 4, 1993, on CBS.

Franklin station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original route. The station is located in the median of Memorial Drive, just west of the intersection with 28 Street SE. The station is 4.7 km (2.92 mi) from the City Hall Interlocking. Pedestrian bridges connect the station to either side of Memorial Drive. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the center-loading platform. The station serves (Albert Park/Radisson Heights) to the south and industrial areas to the north. 578 parking spaces are available for commuters. As part of Calgary Transit's plan to operate 4-car trains by the end of 2014, all 3-car platforms are being extended. Franklin station also had new furnishings installed, in addition to a platform extension. Construction was completed in the late Summer/Fall of 2013.In 2005, the station registered an average transit of 4,700 boardings per weekday.

Rundle is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 32 Avenue NE to the north, 16 Avenue NE (Trans-Canada Highway) to the south, 52 Street NE to the east and 36 Street NE to the west. The Sunridge Mall is located immediately west of the neighbourhood. Rundle is home to a large Lebanese group. Rundle was established in 1973 and was named after Robert Terrill Rundle, a missionary who worked in Western Canada in the mid-19th century. (Rundle is actually one of four communities built in the 1970s in NE Calgary. These four communities together are known as "The Properties", and all four were named after nearby mountains: Mounts Rundle, Pineridge, Whitehorn and Temple). It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 10 councillor.The community is served by the Rundle station of the C-Train LRT system. The postal code in this area is T1Y.

Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) is a 506,000 square foot hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is under the auspices of Alberta Health Services, formerly the Calgary Health Region, providing medical and surgical services to Calgary but also Southern Alberta. The PLC has a 24 hours emergency department, an intensive care unit (ICU), and offers ambulatory care. It was named after Peter Lougheed, who served as premier of Alberta from 1971 to 1985. The hospital opened in 1988 with 500 beds, and today contains over 600 beds. The new East Wing was completed in 2008 and includes 140 inpatient beds, as well as a new intensive care and coronary care unit. It was also designed with a new roof-top helipad for emergency services.

Calgary-Cross is a current provincial electoral district in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Created in 1993, the district is one of 87 districts mandated to return a single member (MLA) to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post method of voting. The district was created in the 1993 boundary redistribution from Calgary-McCall and Calgary-Montrose, and present boundaries covers the neighbourhoods of Whitehorn, Temple, Pineridge and Rundle in northeast Calgary.
