S.C. Braga

The Monastery of Dumio (sometimes Dumium or Dumio, in Portuguese São Martinho de Dume), is a former paleo-Christian monastery in the civil parish of Dume, municipality of Braga, in northwestern Portugal. Originally a Roman villa, it was the base of a basilica by Suebi tribes, and later Christian monastery headed by Martin of Braga in the 6th century (c. 550–560). The re-discovery of the Roman ruins in the late 20th century resulted in archaeological excavations that unearthed its former use.

The Chapel of São Frutuoso (Portuguese: Capela de São Frutuoso), also known as the Chapel of São Frutuoso of Montélios (Portuguese: Capela de São Frutuoso de Montélios) or the Chapel of São Salvador of Montélios (Portuguese: Capela de São Salvador de Montélios), is a pre-Romanesque chapel in the civil parish of Real, municipality of Braga. It is part of group of religious buildings that include the Royal Church, and originally built by the Visigoths in the 7th century, in the form of a Greek cross. Since 1944, it has been classified as a National Monument (Portuguese: Monumento Nacional).

Dume is a former freguesia ("civil parish") and former bishopric in the municipality of Braga, northern Portugal, which remains a Catholic titular see. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Real, Dume e Semelhe. It has a population of 3 081 inhabitants and a total area of 4.34 km2.

The Carmo Church in Portuguese, Igreja do Carmo is a Portuguese 17th-century church in Braga, Portugal, with a Latin cross Floor plan and a single nave. The church is part of the Carmelite Convent, founded in 1653. The main façade (from 1911) follows the plan of the tower façade, and the interior decoration features baroque golden woodwork retables and neoclassical retables and tiles.

São Vicente is a Portuguese freguesia ("civil parish"), located in the municipality of Braga. The population in 2011 was 13,236, in an area of 2.55 km².In São Vicente is located the Faculty of Philosophy part of Catholic University of Portugal, the Escola Secundária Sá de Miranda and the Colégio D. Diogo de Sousa.

The Residence of Biscainhos (Portuguese: Casa dos Biscainhos/Museu dos Biscainhos), is a former-signeurial residence located in civil parish of Braga (Maximinos, Sé e Cividade), in the municipality of Braga, in northern Portuguese district of Braga.

The Saint Vincent Church (Portuguese: Igreja de São Vicente) is a 16th-century baroque Catholic church in Braga, Portugal, dedicated to Saint Vincent of Saragossa. The Church has been classified as Property of Public Interest since 1986.

Braga ( BRAH-gə, Portuguese: [ˈbɾaɣɐ] ; Proto-Celtic: *Bracara) is a city and a municipality, capital of the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga and of the historical and cultural Minho Province. Braga Municipality had a resident population of 193,333 inhabitants (in 2021), representing the seventh largest municipality in Portugal by population. Its area is 183.40 km2. Its agglomerated urban area extends to the Cávado River and is the third most populated urban area in Portugal, behind Lisbon and Porto Metropolitan Areas. It is host to the oldest Portuguese archdiocese, the Archdiocese of Braga of the Catholic Church and it is the seat of the Primacy of the Spains. During the Roman Empire, then known as Bracara Augusta, the settlement was the capital of the Roman province of Gallaecia and later would become the capital of the Kingdom of the Suebi that was one of the first territories to separate from the Roman Empire in the 5th century. Inside of the city there is also a castle tower that can be visited. Nowadays, Braga is among the most noted entrepreneurial and technological centers of the country, as well as a major hub for inland Northern Portugal, and it is an important stop on the Portuguese Way path of the Road of St James. The city hosted two games of the UEFA Euro 2004 and was the European Youth Capital in 2012.

The Braga Town Hall (in Portuguese Paços do Concelho de Braga) is a landmark building located in Sé parish in the heart of Braga, Portugal. In there is located the headquarters of the Câmara Municipal, the city local government. It is a work of the architect André Soares. The Town Hall, started in 1754, was completed in 1865.

The Garden of Santa Barbara (Portuguese: Jardim de Santa Bárbara) is a municipal garden in the civil parish of Sé, municipality of Braga, alongside the eastern wing of the historical Archbishop's Palace of Braga.

The Image Museum or in Portuguese Museu da Imagem is located in Braga, Portugal and is dedicated to photography.The collection is one of the largest and most important in Portugal. It holds images, by both classic and contemporary photographers, and illustrates a wide range of subject matter, mainly historic photos from Braga. The museum opened on April 25, 1999, and is close to Arco da Porta Nova, in a building from the 19th century and a tower, from the Braga Castle.
