Xırdalan

Sulutəpə (also, Sulutepe or Sulu Tepe) is a settlement in Baku, Azerbaijan. The settlement forms part of the municipality of Biləcəri in Binəqədi raion.It is an unofficial township built up in the 1980s by rural migrants and refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. There is oil there, and oil wells, on the land occupied by residents, ownership being claimed by "Binagadi Oil", which is, in turn, owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Company "Global Energy Azerbaijan" which is registered in the Virgin Islands. Attempts by the oil company to evict squatters and demolish illegal construction have been controversial with residents strongly contesting the oil companies claims. It was reported that on April 17, 2012 a mob of local residents attacked oil company employees demolishing houses and that the employees, in turn, severely beat a local Azeri reporter, Idrak Abbasov, while he was filming the incident.

Hökməli (also, Hokmaly and Hökmely) is a village and municipality in the Absheron Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 4,463.

The Battle of Baku (Azerbaijani: Bakı döyüşü, Turkish: Bakü Muharebesi, Russian: Битва за Баку) was a battle in World War I that took place between August–September 1918 between the Ottoman–Azerbaijani coalition forces led by Nuri Pasha and Bolshevik–ARF Baku Soviet forces, later succeeded by the British–Armenian–White Russian forces led by Lionel Dunsterville and saw Soviet Russia briefly re-enter the war. The battle was fought as a conclusive part of the Caucasus Campaign, but as a beginning of the Armenian–Azerbaijani War.

Xocəsən (also, Hocasan, Gadzhi-Gasan, Khodzhagasan, Khodzhasan, and Khodzhi-Gasan) is a settlement and municipality in Baku, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 5,100. Here is situated Hocasan Football Federation.

Baku International Bus Terminal is a bus terminal located in Baku, Azerbaijan. The foundation stone for the complex was laid in 2004, and construction work was carried out by local firm "Baku 21st century". Baku International Bus Terminal was opened officially on 12 February 2009. It is the biggest bus terminal in the Commonwealth of Independent States countries. Its design resembles a ship. It is located on Sumgait highway, in the entry to Baku city.

Avtovağzal is a Baku Metro station. It was opened on 19 April 2016, connecting the Baku International Bus Terminal to the Baku Metro network.

The Binagadi asphalt lake (or Binagadi tar pits; Azerbaijani: Binəqədi gölü) are a cluster of tar pits in urban Baku, Azerbaijan. Asphaltum or tar has seeped up from the ground in this area for tens of thousands of years. The tar is often covered with dust, leaves, or water. Over many centuries, animals that were trapped in the tar were preserved as bones. This ancient flora and fauna deposit is protected by the State as a monument of a nature of the special significance pursuant to the Decree of the Government of Azerbaijan Republic No. 167 of March 16, 1982.

Qobu (Gobu) is a village and municipality in the Absheron District of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 7,997.

Jafar Jabbarli Monument (Azerbaijani: Cəfər Cabbarlının heykəli) is a monument to the Azerbaijani poet and dramatist Jafar Jabbarli (1899–1934), located on Jafar Jabbarli Square in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, not far from the entrance to the 28 May metro station. The monument was made of pink granite by the sculptor Mir-Ali Mir-Gasimov. It was installed in 1982. The architect of the monument is Yusif Kadymov.

The Azerbaijan National Center of Oncology (Azerbaijani: Milli Onkologiya Mərkəzi) is a scientific research institution that investigates oncological diseases and specializes in oncologic treatment. The National Center of Oncology has been led by Jamil Aliyev since 1990.
