Piedmont Newnan Hospital (PNH) is a 136-bed, acute-care hospital located at its new location of 745 Poplar Rd in Newnan, Georgia, offering 24-hour emergency services, women's services, and general medical/surgical services. Diagnostic services include CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. A complete range of medical/surgical services includes laparoscopic surgery, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, sleep studies and exploratory cardiac catheterization and rehabilitation, and wound treatment/hyperbaric therapy. A new Piedmont Newnan Hospital opened on May 8, 2012. "The new hospital is situated on 105 acres along Poplar Road near I-85. At 362,376 square feet, the 136-bed hospital will have 14 post-partum beds, 18 critical care beds, and 104 general medical/surgical patient beds. Newnan–Coweta County Airport (ICAO: KCCO, FAA LID: CCO) is a public use airport in Coweta County, Georgia, United States. It is owned by the Newnan & Coweta County Airport Authority. The airport is located 4 nautical miles (7 km; 5 mi) south of the central business district of Newnan, Georgia and 33 nautical miles (61 km; 38 mi) southwest of Atlanta. It is surrounded by US 29 and I-85 and 100 acres (0.40 km2) owned by the county. The airport name appears in various formats, depending on the source. The FAA refers to it as both Newnan Coweta County Airport and Newnan–Coweta County Airport. The Georgia DOT airport directory adds a hyphen/dash for Newnan–Coweta County Airport. The City of Newnan's website drops "County" from the name, resulting in Newnan–Coweta Airport. Coweta County's website drops both "County" and the hyphen/dash, for Newnan Coweta Airport and also has a photo of a sign at the airport bearing that name. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.

The Mary Ray Memorial School, now the Raymond Community Center, is located on Raymond Sheddan Avenue in Raymond, Georgia, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 2013. The school was founded in 1908 as a one-room schoolhouse. When it opened, it had around 30 students. In 1909, there were around 70 students, and a wing was added. In 1910, it had over 100 students, and a second wing was built. The school was closed in 1948, and in the early 1950s the building was given to the community for a community club. In the mid-1980s, it fell into disrepair. In 2007, new trustees were appointed, who met outside the building in the "kudzu" and decided to save it. Volunteer workers began the restoration in October 2007, and the work was completed in June 2011.

The Coweta County Courthouse is a historic government building located at Courthouse Square in the U.S. city of Newnan, Georgia, the seat of Coweta County. It was constructed in 1904, and is located along Broad Street to the south, Jefferson Street (northbound US 27 ALT/US 29) to the east, Washington Street to the north and LaGrange Street (southbound US 27 ALT/US 29) to the west. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is also a contributing property to the Newnan Commercial Historic District It is a Classical Revival-style building designed by architect James W. Golucke. It has an Ionic tetrastyle main entrance and Ionic di-style side entrances, all with full entablatures and pediments. It has stamped copper cornices and dome. Its walls are a dark brick laid in Flemish bond.The courthouse was renovated in 1975.

The paper was founded in 1865, which makes it the oldest news organization in Newnan and Coweta County, Georgia. It is a local newspaper and official legal organ for the community located about 30 miles south of Atlanta. On July 22, 1972, the Newnan Times-Herald received the National Newspaper Association award for "excellence in typography".

Its headquarters are an antebellum building on Jackson Street (US 29) at Sprayberry Road in Newnan, Georgia. Coweta County is the 9th-fastest-growing county in Georgia and the 26th-fastest-growing in the country. The school system has grown from 9,210 students in 1984 to over 22,000 students in 2007.
