Boones Ferry

The Wilsonville railroad bridge is a steel truss bridge that crosses the Willamette River at Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. This 1,220-foot (370 m) long structure was finished in 1975 to replace a 1907 bridge at the same location and carries rail traffic for the Portland and Western Railroad. The original bridge was built to carry the Oregon Electric Railway across the river near the Boones Ferry.

Boone Bridge is a steel girder highway bridge over the Willamette River at Wilsonville, Oregon, in the United States. Built in 1954, it crosses the river to the Charbonneau section of Wilsonville, carrying Interstate 5 into the open Willamette Valley from the Portland metropolitan area. Maintained by the Oregon Department of Transportation, the 1,111-foot-long (339 m) bridge has three travel lanes in each direction. To the west is the site of the former Boone's Ferry, which the bridge replaced.

Arts and Technology High School, known as ATHS or ArtTech, was a public charter high school in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Part of the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, the school opened in 2005. it closed at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. The main Art Tech campus as well as the adjacent Kiva Administration Building have since been turned back over to the City of Wilsonville (the owners of the buildings), and are now utilizing it for various purposes.

Wilsonville is a city primarily in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. A portion of the northern section of the city is in Washington County. It was founded as Boones Landing because of the Boones Ferry which crossed the Willamette River at the location; the community became Wilsonville in 1880. The city was incorporated in 1969 with a population of approximately 1,000. The population was 13,991 at the 2000 census, and grew to 19,509 as of 2010. Slightly more than 90% of residents at the 2000 census were white, with Hispanics comprising the largest minority group. Located within the Portland metropolitan area, the city also includes the planned communities of Charbonneau on the south side of the river, and Villebois on the western edge. The city is bisected by Interstate 5 and includes I-5's Boone Bridge over the Willamette. Public transportation is provided by the city-owned South Metro Area Regional Transit, which connects to the Portland-based TriMet by train through TriMet's WES and by bus at the Tualatin Park & Ride. Students in public schools attend schools in the West Linn-Wilsonville and Canby school districts, including the only traditional high school, Wilsonville High School. Clackamas Community College and Oregon Tech have satellite campuses in the city. Wilsonville has a council-manager form of government and operates its own library, public works, and parks & recreation department. Fire and police protection are contracted out to other regional government agencies. Wilsonville Public Works contracts Jacobs for operation of the wastewater treatment plant, and Veolia North America for operation of the Willamette River Water Treatment Plant. The city is home to several technology companies including Mentor Graphics, along with Stream Global Services, the largest employer in the city. Wilsonville contains many distribution and manufacturing buildings adjacent to Interstate 5 such as regional distribution facilities for Coca-Cola and Rite Aid. Retail centers include Argyle Square on the north and the Town Center Shopping Center to the south. Media in Wilsonville consists of the Portland area broadcast stations, regional newspapers, and the local Wilsonville Spokesman newspaper.

The Wilsonville Public Library (WPL) is the single-location public library of the city of Wilsonville in the U.S. state of Oregon. Established in 1982, the library moved to its present location near Wilsonville Memorial Park in 1988. WPL is a part of the Library Information Network of Clackamas County and serves a population of about 21,900. The library has approximately 155,000 items in its collection with a total circulation of approximately 515,000.

Wilsonville Memorial Park is a large municipal park in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Opened in 1969, the 126-acre (51 ha) park is the largest and oldest in the city. Located off Wilsonville Road east of Interstate 5, the park includes a plaza with water features, athletic fields and courts, trails, a skatepark, picnic areas, a dog park, and playground equipment. Part of the park fronts the Willamette River and includes a public boat dock.

Town Center Park is a small municipal park in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Located in the middle of Wilsonville's town center, the 5-acre (2.0 ha) park cost $4.5 million to complete. The park includes the Oregon Korean War Memorial, a visitor's center, paths, a play area, picnic tables, and an amphitheater among other features. Completed in 2005, Town Center Park is also home to Wilsonville's first interactive water feature.

Charbonneau (also known as the Charbonneau District) is a private planned community within the city limits of Wilsonville in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. It is on the opposite side the Willamette River from the main area of the city. The development was named for Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, the son of Sacagawea.Charbonneau began in 1972 as a nine-hole golf course and 228 town homes; it now has a population of about 3,500 living in 1,158 multi-family units and 510 houses with an integrated 27-hole golf course. There is also a small commercial district with about 10 shops including a grocery store and restaurant. As one of the oldest communities of its type in Oregon, its construction helped lead to the adoption of land-use planning and an urban growth boundary to attempt to prevent urban sprawl.Charbonneau's 200 primary and secondary students are served by the Canby School District.

The Oregon Korean War Memorial is a war memorial located in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Completed in 2000, it honors the Oregon soldiers and the Korean people from the Korean War. The memorial is located within a 5.5-acre (22,000 m2) city park and features a 109-foot (33 m)-long granite wall that includes the names of those Oregonians who died or were listed as missing from the war.

Wilsonville Transit Center, also called SMART Central at Wilsonville Station, is a bus and commuter rail transport hub in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. The transit center, which is owned and operated by the City of Wilsonville, is the hub for the South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) bus system. The Portland metropolitan area's regional transit agency, TriMet, operates the southern terminus of its WES Commuter Rail at the facility; WES connects with the Blue and Red lines of MAX Light Rail at Beaverton Transit Center. Opened in January 2009, the transit center includes a 400-car park and ride.

G.I. Joe's was a privately owned retail chain for sporting goods, ready-to-wear clothing, and auto parts; that operated stores in the Pacific Northwest region of the northwestern United States.Founded in 1952, the company had as many as 31 stores, located in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. It was based in Wilsonville, Oregon. In 2007, the company changed its name to Joe's. In 2009, it filed for bankruptcy and was liquidated.

Dammasch State Hospital was a mental hospital, asylum, and educational center located in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Named for Dr. Ferdinand H. Dammasch, the hospital opened in 1961 and closed in 1995. After its closure, the former site was embroiled in local controversy as it was a proposed location for a women's prison, which angered local residents as the site is less than a mile from residential neighborhoods. The Dammasch building was demolished, and the Villebois housing development occupies its former site.
