Town Center Park

The Oregon Korean War Memorial is a war memorial located in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Completed in 2000, it honors the Oregon soldiers and the Korean people from the Korean War. The memorial is located within a 5.5-acre (22,000 m2) city park and features a 109-foot (33 m)-long granite wall that includes the names of those Oregonians who died or were listed as missing from the war.

Wilsonville is a city primarily in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. A portion of the northern section of the city is in Washington County. It was founded as Boones Landing because of the Boones Ferry which crossed the Willamette River at the location; the community became Wilsonville in 1880. The city was incorporated in 1969 with a population of approximately 1,000. The population was 13,991 at the 2000 census, and grew to 19,509 as of 2010. Slightly more than 90% of residents at the 2000 census were white, with Hispanics comprising the largest minority group. Located within the Portland metropolitan area, the city also includes the planned communities of Charbonneau on the south side of the river, and Villebois on the western edge. The city is bisected by Interstate 5 and includes I-5's Boone Bridge over the Willamette. Public transportation is provided by the city-owned South Metro Area Regional Transit, which connects to the Portland-based TriMet by train through TriMet's WES and by bus at the Tualatin Park & Ride. Students in public schools attend schools in the West Linn-Wilsonville and Canby school districts, including the only traditional high school, Wilsonville High School. Clackamas Community College and Oregon Tech have satellite campuses in the city. Wilsonville has a council-manager form of government and operates its own library, public works, and parks & recreation department. Fire and police protection are contracted out to other regional government agencies. Wilsonville Public Works contracts Jacobs for operation of the wastewater treatment plant, and Veolia North America for operation of the Willamette River Water Treatment Plant. The city is home to several technology companies including Mentor Graphics, along with Stream Global Services, the largest employer in the city. Wilsonville contains many distribution and manufacturing buildings adjacent to Interstate 5 such as regional distribution facilities for Coca-Cola and Rite Aid. Retail centers include Argyle Square on the north and the Town Center Shopping Center to the south. Media in Wilsonville consists of the Portland area broadcast stations, regional newspapers, and the local Wilsonville Spokesman newspaper.

The Wilsonville Public Library (WPL) is the single-location public library of the city of Wilsonville in the U.S. state of Oregon. Established in 1982, the library moved to its present location near Wilsonville Memorial Park in 1988. WPL is a part of the Library Information Network of Clackamas County and serves a population of about 21,900. The library has approximately 155,000 items in its collection with a total circulation of approximately 515,000.

Arts and Technology High School, known as ATHS or ArtTech, was a public charter high school in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Part of the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, the school opened in 2005. it closed at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. The main Art Tech campus as well as the adjacent Kiva Administration Building have since been turned back over to the City of Wilsonville (the owners of the buildings), and are now utilizing it for various purposes.

Wilsonville Memorial Park is a large municipal park in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Opened in 1969, the 126-acre (51 ha) park is the largest and oldest in the city. Located off Wilsonville Road east of Interstate 5, the park includes a plaza with water features, athletic fields and courts, trails, a skatepark, picnic areas, a dog park, and playground equipment. Part of the park fronts the Willamette River and includes a public boat dock.

Wilsonville Transit Center, also called SMART Central at Wilsonville Station, is a bus and commuter rail transport hub in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. The transit center, which is owned and operated by the City of Wilsonville, is the hub for the South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) bus system. The Portland metropolitan area's regional transit agency, TriMet, operates the southern terminus of its WES Commuter Rail at the facility; WES connects with the Blue and Red lines of MAX Light Rail at Beaverton Transit Center. Opened in January 2009, the transit center includes a 400-car park and ride.

Founded in 1981 as Mentor Graphics, the company was acquired by Siemens in 2017. The company distributes products that assist in electronic design automation, simulation tools for analog mixed-signal design, VPN solutions, and fluid dynamics and heat transfer tools. The company leveraged Apollo Computer workstations to differentiate itself within the computer-aided engineering (CAE) market with its software and hardware.

Teledyne FLIR LLC, formerly FLIR Systems Inc, (an acronym for "forward-looking infrared"), a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, specializes in the design and production of thermal imaging cameras and sensors. Its main customers are governments and in 2020, approximately 31% of its revenues were from the federal government of the United States and its agencies.

The Oregon Institute of Technology, Portland-Metro or Oregon Tech Portland-Metro, previously called Oregon Tech Wilsonville, is a public polytechnic and research university located in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. It is an urban, industry-focused campus in Silicon Forest located near Mentor Graphics, Rockwell Collins, FLIR, Microsoft, Xerox, Convergence, Tektronix and DWFritz, and other technology companies. US News and Education World Report ranks Oregon Tech two in public schools in the west, fifth in regional colleges west and #12 in best value schools. In a 2019 report, the university was ranked in the upper 1 percent in the nation in PayScale's release of top colleges based on graduates' return on tuition and borrowing investments.The campus focuses heavily on renewable energy with a commitment to environmental sustainability within the city of Wilsonville and the Portland Metro area. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of Clinical Laboratory Science and Paramedic Science in partnership with OHSU, and engineering, technology and management degrees in electrical and renewable energy engineering, electronics, embedded systems, manufacturing, mechanical, software engineering, computer science, information technology, operations management, and geomatics. Oregon Tech is also affiliated with the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center in Scappoose, Oregon.

Boone Bridge is a steel girder highway bridge over the Willamette River at Wilsonville, Oregon, in the United States. Built in 1954, it crosses the river to the Charbonneau section of Wilsonville, carrying Interstate 5 into the open Willamette Valley from the Portland metropolitan area. Maintained by the Oregon Department of Transportation, the 1,111-foot-long (339 m) bridge has three travel lanes in each direction. To the west is the site of the former Boone's Ferry, which the bridge replaced.

Wilsonville High School is a four-year suburban, public high school in Wilsonville, Oregon, United States. Part of the West Linn-Wilsonville School district, Wilsonville HS opened in 1995 and has grown steadily to its current population of just over 1200 students. It offers a wide variety of academic programs, sports, and extracurricular activities as well as a thriving art program. The student body makeup is 52 percent male and 48 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 26 percent. This is the first and only high school in Wilsonville. Before 1995, students had to either take a bus to West Linn to attend West Linn High School, or go to a neighboring town’s high school. Wilsonville high school was referred to as "high tech high" when it opened in 1995, Wilsonville High School was praised for providing network computers in each classroom and internet access for all students.
