The Fort of Bom Sucesso (Portuguese: Forte do Bom Sucesso) is located slightly to the west of the Belém Tower in Belém in the municipality of Lisbon, in Portugal. It now houses the Museu do Combatente (Combatant’s museum) and the Monument to Overseas Combatants.

The Portuguese Joint Command and Staff College (Portuguese: Instituto de Estudos Superiores Militares) or IESM is the military university establishment that provides training and education to experienced officers of the three service branches of the Portuguese Armed Forces and of the Portuguese National Republican Guard (GNR). The training and education given by the IESM focuses in the general areas of administration, strategy and operations, as well in the specific areas related with the Navy, the Army, the Air Force and the GNR. The IESM was created in 2005, from the merger of the former three separate staff colleges of the Portuguese Army (IAEM, Instituto de Altos Estudos Militares), of the Portuguese Navy (ISNG, Instituto Superior Naval de Guerra) and of the Portuguese Air Force (IAEFA, Instituto de Altos Estudos da Força Aérea). It occupies the installations of the former IAEM at Pedrouços, Lisbon. Replaced in 2014 by the Military University Institute ((Portuguese: Instituto Universitário Militar) or IUM

Belém Tower (Portuguese: Torre de Belém, pronounced [ˈtoʁ(ɨ) dɨ bɨˈlɐ̃ȷ̃]), officially the Tower of Saint Vincent (Portuguese: Torre de São Vicente) is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. It was built during the height of the Portuguese Renaissance, and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style, but it also incorporates hints of other architectural styles. The structure was built from lioz limestone and is composed of a bastion and a 30-metre (98.4 ft), four-storey tower. Since 1983, the tower has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the Jerónimos Monastery. It is often portrayed as a symbol of Europe's Age of Discoveries and as a metonym for Portugal or Lisbon, given its landmark status. It has incorrectly been stated that the tower was built in the middle of the Tagus and now sits near the shore because the river was redirected after the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. In fact, the tower was built on a small island in the Tagus river near the Lisbon shore.

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Lisbon (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Lisabon) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Portugal. The embassy is located at Av. Dom Vasco da Gama 40, 1449-039, Belém, Lisboa, Portugal. The first Indonesian ambassador to Portugal was Harry Pryohoetomo Haryono (2001-2004).... The most recent ambassador is Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo, who was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 20 February 2018

NOS Alive (formerly Optimus Alive! and Optimus Alive) is an annual music and arts festival which takes place in the Algés riverside, in Oeiras, Portugal. It is organized by the Portuguese live entertainment company Everything is New and its main sponsor is telecommunications company NOS (previously named Optimus).The first edition took place in 2007. The festival has achieved considerable popularity both inside and outside of Portugal, with the British magazine NME naming one of the top 12 European festivals in 2009. In 2012, readers of the NME website readers rated the festival 10 out of 10.

The Monument to the First Aerial Crossing of the South Atlantic is a monument in Lisbon, Portugal, placed at Brasília Avenue, within the civil parish of Belém. It consists of a stainless steel replica sculpture of Fairey III biplane, that was used by Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral during their 1922 South Atlantic aerial crossing. Inside are also installed their life-sized busts. It was designed by architects Martins Bairrada and Leopoldo Soares Branc, and sculptor Domingos Soares Branco, and unveiled in 1991.

The Fort of Alto do Duque is located 75 meters above sea level at the southwestern tip of the Monsanto Forest Park, in the parish of Ajuda, in Portugal's capital of Lisbon. Built at the end of the 19th century as part of Lisbon's Campo Entrincheirado (Entrenched Field) defensive ring around the city, with the intention that it, together with the Fort of Bom Sucesso, would defend against attacks along the River Tagus, the fort is now headquarters of the criminal investigation division of the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP) in Lisbon.

Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo is a civil parish in the municipality of Oeiras, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Algés, Linda-a-Velha and Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo. The population in 2011 was 48,665, in an area of 7.18 km².

The Hermitage of Restelo (Portuguese: Ermida de Restelo), alternately Chapel of Saint Jerome (Portuguese: Capela de São Jerónimo), is a hermitage in the civil parish of Santa Maria de Belém, in the municipality of Lisbon. The religious architecture has Manueline and revivalist Neo-manueline elements, consisting of a single-nave structure with a vaulted ceiling and surrounded by a modernist landscape, as evidenced by a preoccupation with choice of plants and manicured environment (completed by Gonçalo Ribeiro), in order to create a zone of protection for the hermitage.

Lisbon Harbour Control Tower is a 38 metre tall control tower at the end of an artificial peninsula in Lisbon, Portugal. The building is of an ultramodern design where it tilts towards the opening to the harbour. The nine storey tower was designed by Gonçalo Sousa Byrne and is owned by the Governo da Republica Portuguesa. The lower section of the tower is made of horizontally placed copper whilst the final three storeys are glass. This is done so that the building looks like an ultramodern lighthouse. The control tower was inaugurated on July 16, 2001 and won the First Prize at the TECU Architecture Awards on May 9, 2003.

Algés (Portuguese pronunciation: [aɫˈʒɛʃ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Oeiras, in Lisbon metropolitan area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo. The population in 2011 was 22,273, in an area of 1.98 km². The parish is located near the Tagus river, between the town of Oeiras and the capital city of Lisbon. It is also a part of the Greater Lisbon Area. It is mostly a residential suburb. Algés was elevated to a town on August 16, 1991, and the parish was officially created on June 11, 1993, after separating from the parish of Carnaxide.

The Belém Cultural Center (Portuguese: Centro Cultural de Belém), is a complex of artistic venues located in Belém in the city of Lisbon. It is the largest building with cultural facilities in Portugal, with over 140,000 m2 (1,500,000 sq ft) of usable space. The centre was initially built to accommodate the programme of Portugal's Presidency of the European Council in 1992, but with the long-term goal of providing permanent venues for conferences, exhibitions and performance arts (such as opera, ballet and concerts), in addition to meeting halls, shops and cafés.
