Canton of Allauch

Allauch (French pronunciation: ​[alo]; Occitan: Alaug) is a French commune situated east of Marseille in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as Allaudiens or Allaudiennes in French.

Plan-de-Cuques (French pronunciation: ​[plɑ̃ də kyk]; Occitan: Lo Plan de Cucas) is a commune northeast of Marseille in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. It is located 9.2 km (5.7 mi) from Marseille.

La Treille is a quartier on the outskirts of the 11th arrondissement of Marseille, in the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône, France. It has approximately 900 inhabitants. At the centre of the quartier is the seventeenth century hillside village of La Treille.

The École Centrale de Marseille is a leading graduate school of engineering (or Grande école of engineering) located in Marseille, the second largest city in France. The École Centrale de Marseille was created in 2006 by the merging of different previous institutions and has its origins from the École d'ingénieurs de Marseille founded in 1890. It is one of the Centrale Graduate Schools (Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Marseille and Beijing) and a member of the TIME (Top Industrial Managers for Europe) network.

The 11th arrondissement of Marseille is one of the 16 arrondissements of Marseille. It is governed locally together with the 12th arrondissement, with which it forms the 6th sector of Marseille.

The Château de Ners is a ruined castle standing on a hill dominating the valley of the Pichauris. It is located north east of the town of Allauch in the commune of Allauch in the Bouches-du-Rhône département of France.

La Penne-sur-Huveaune (French pronunciation: [la pɛn syʁ yvon], literally La Penne on Huveaune; Provençal: La Pena d’Evèuna) is a commune east of Marseille and west of Aubagne along the A50 autoroute in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. The river Huveaune flows through it, from which the commune derived its name.

Garlaban is a hill which looks out to Aubagne. The summit is 715 metres high although its highest point is the butte des pinsots (731 m). It can be seen from most of the southern part of Bouches-du-Rhône, from Marseille to the valley of Huveaune, through to the motorway in Toulon and the one in Aix-en-Provence. In the past, seamen from Marseille used to look to it to find direction.

La Royante is a bastide (country manor) located in the town of Aubagne in Provence, between Cassis and Aix-en-Provence on the south side of Garlaban mountain. It displays typical 18th-century Provençal architecture including a remarkable Gothic chapel. Mentioned on old maps as "the castle of the bishop", the property currently hosts a guesthouse. It was the center of historical research for Heritage Days in 2011.
