Wilnis

Vinkeveen en Waverveen is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It was created in a merger of Vinkeveen and Waverveen in 1841, and existed until 1989, when the new municipality of De Ronde Venen was formed.

Oudhuizen is a former village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is now a neighbourhood on the eastern side of the village of Wilnis. Oudhuizen was a separate municipality from 1818 to 1857, when it was merged with Wilnis.

De Ronde Venen (Dutch pronunciation: [də ˈrɔndə ˈveːnə(n)] ; lit. 'the round peat bogs') is a municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. On 1 January 2011, the municipality of Abcoude was amalgamated into De Ronde Venen.

Vinkeveen is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of De Ronde Venen, and lies about 18 km south of Amsterdam. Vinkeveen used to be a separate municipality. It merged with Waverveen in 1841, to form the municipality Vinkeveen en Waverveen. In 1989 there was a reorganisation of local governments, and Vinkeveen became a part of De Ronde Venen.Vinkeveen is best known for the Vinkeveense Plassen (Lakes of Vinkeveen), an area of lakes and sand islands east of the village. It is an important recreational area, with facilities for swimming, diving and yachting. A permit is required for recreational diving in the lake. There is a marina on the north shore of the lakes.

Oud-Kamerik is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Woerden, and lies about 6 km northwest of the city of Woerden. It consists of a number of farms in the Polder Kamerik-Teylingens, east of the villages of Kamerik and Kanis. The hamlet was first mentioned in 1296 as Oldecamerike. It uses oud (old) to distinguish from Kamerik which has been named after Cambrai in France. It is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Kamerik. Oud-Kamerik has no place name signs. In 1840, it was home to 206 people. Nowadays, it consists of about 60 houses.

Spengen is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Utrecht (province). It is a part of the municipality of Stichtse Vecht, and lies about 10 km northeast of Woerden. The hamlet was first mentioned in 1217 as Spanien, and is a reference to Spain. It started as a peat excavation settlement in the 11th or 12th century. The postal authorities have placed it under Kockengen, and it has no place name signs. In 1840, it was home to 162 people.

Slikkendam is a hamlet in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Nieuwkoop, and lies about 8 km north of Woerden.

Woerdense Verlaat is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Nieuwkoop, and lies about 8 km north of Woerden. In 2001, the village of Woerdense Verlaat had 303 inhabitants. Its built-up area was 0.067 km², and contained 113 residences. The statistical area "Woerdense Verlaat", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 690.

Noordsebuurt is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Nieuwkoop, and lies about 10 km north of Woerden. The statistical area "Noordsebuurt", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 210.
