Ennerdale and Kinniside is a civil parish in Copeland, Cumbria, England. At the 2011 census it had a population of 220.The parish has an area of 8,763 hectares (33.83 sq mi).The village of Ennerdale Bridge is in the west of the parish; much of the parish forms Ennerdale valley, holding Ennerdale Water, the most westerly of the lakes of the Lake District. The Anglican parish church of St Mary, Ennerdale is in Ennerdale Bridge village.Ennerdale and Kinniside C of E Primary School is in Ennerdale Bridge village.There is a parish council, the lowest tier of local government.

Crag Fell is a hill in the English Lake District. It is part of the Lank Rigg group, standing above Ennerdale Water in the Western Fells. The craggy northern face above the lake gives the fell its name, prominent in views from the car park at Bowness Knott. Ascents are commonly made from the foot of Ennerdale Water.

Ennerdale was a rural district in the county of Cumberland in England from 1934 to 1974. It was created in 1934 by a County Review Order, by the merger of the urban districts of Arlecdon and Frizington, Cleator Moor, Egremont, and Harrington along with part of Bootle Rural District and most of Whitehaven Rural District. The district was named after Ennerdale. The council's offices were at "The Flosh", a converted nineteenth century house on Main Street, Cleator. It survived until 1974 when under the Local Government Act 1972 it was merged with other districts and the Borough of Whitehaven to form the Copeland district in Cumbria.In the neighbouring county of Westmorland a similar type of area and in fact containing fewer towns and villages namely Lakes was created at the same time as an urban district.

Whoap is a hill located near the western edge of the English Lake District, standing at 511 m. It is part of the Lank Rigg group and is separated from this fell by an unnamed col, known locally as the Whoap Step. Whoap is not listed as a Wainwright, although it is briefly mentioned in the chapters for Lank Rigg and Crag Fell in Volume 7: The Western Fells.

Ennerdale Bridge is a hamlet in the county of Cumbria, England. It is in the civil parish of Ennerdale and Kinniside. It had a total population taken at the 2011 census of 220.

Kinniside Stone Circle (or Blakeley Raise Stone Circle) is a reconstructed stone circle in the civil parish of Ennerdale and Kinniside in Cumbria, England (grid reference NY060140).

Ennerdale Water is the most westerly lake in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. It is a glacial lake, with a maximum depth of 150 feet (46 metres), and is ½ mile to a mile (700 to 1,500 metres) wide and 2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 kilometres) long. The lake lies in the eponymous valley of Ennerdale, surrounded by some of the highest and best-known fells in Cumbria including: Great Gable (899 m), Green Gable, Brandreth, High Crag, Steeple and Pillar. To the west of the lake lies the hamlet of Ennerdale Bridge, consisting of two pubs and a few houses. It is close to the port of Whitehaven.

Kirkland Mission Church is an Anglican church in Kirkland, in Cumbria in northern England. It falls within the deanery of Calder and the diocese of Carlisle. Its benefice is Lamplugh, Kirkland and Ennerdale. The church is not a listed building.

Kirkland is a small village near the A5086 road, in the Copeland district, in the English county of Cumbria. The nearest town is Cleator Moor. The Bible Christian chapel was built when Cornish tin-miners relocated to the iron ore workings in West Cumbria. It replicates the Bible Christian Chapels in Devon & Cornwall. The Bible Christians amalgamated into the Methodist Movement in the early 20th century. This chapel was 'revived' and used until the mid-1990s. It was sold to a speculative 'developer' around 1999 and has lain desolate and untouched.

Knock Murton or Murton Fell is a hill of 464.4 metres (1,524 ft) in the north west of the Lake District, England. It lies in the Borough of Copeland in Cumbria.It is classed as a Fellranger, being described by Richards in his book series. It is among the 21 such summits (originally 18 before the extension of the Lake District) which are not included in Wainwright's list of 214. In the Blake Fell section of the 2020 edition of Wainwright's The Western Fells it is noted that Wainwright had described it as "the forbidden peak" and that "A tight forest fence at one time encircled the whole of Murton Fell", but that there is now free access for walkers either from the forest road to the south or over a stile in the fence to the north.

Blakeley Raise is a fell in the English Lake District, standing at 389m. Unlike its neighbours Grike, Crag Fell and Lank Rigg it is not listed as a Wainwright. Despite this lack of status, Blakeley Raise is a worthy climb, providing extensive views over West Cumbria, Southern Scotland and the Isle of Man, including the towns of Whitehaven and Cleator Moor and the Sellafield nuclear processing site.

Kelton Head is a hamlet in Cumbria, England. It has just four houses, and is very close to Kelton Head Quarry, near Rowrah. Despite this, it is in the Lamplugh Neighbourhood.
