Vasona Lake County Park is a park located in Los Gatos, California and part of the Santa Clara County Parks system. Vasona Park surrounds the Vasona Reservoir. Adjacent to the park are the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, a ridable miniature railway, and the W.E. "Bill" Mason Carousel at the Oak Meadow Park.

El Rancho Rinconada de los Gatos was a 6,631-acre (26.83 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Santa Clara County, California made in 1840 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Jose Maria Hernandez and Sebastian Fabian Peralta. Located in the southern San Francisco Bay Area, the grant included present-day Los Gatos and Monte Sereno, along with about a third of Campbell. It also included small sections of present-day San Jose, Saratoga and unincorporated Santa Clara County. Los Gatos Creek flowed through the center of the rancho. The name means "corner of the cats" and is derived from the cougars that are still present in the nearby hills, as well as the "corner" formed by the narrowing gap between El Sereno and El Sombroso mountains.

The Santa Clara County Library District is a public library system headquartered in Campbell, California. The Santa Clara County Library District has been repeatedly recognized as a four-star library by Library Journal. As of 2019, the Santa Clara County Library had a combined collection totaling 2.1 million items and served a combined population of 444,567.

Los Gatos High School (LGHS) is a high school in Los Gatos, California. It was founded in 1908 and is part of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District, which in 2021 was ranked the best high school district in CaliiforniaThe school enrolls approximately 2,100 students and employs about 100 teachers. Los Gatos High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and has regularly received six-year accreditations, the highest possible. It has been recognized twice as a National School for Excellence. LGHS is also notable for its sports programs, most recently winning a Central Coast Section football title in 2019. The Los Gatos Wildcats are part of the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League of the CIF Central Coast Section.

The Yung See San Fong House, or "Young's Home in the Heart of the Hills", is a house in Los Gatos in the U.S. state of California. It is a combination of Asian decorative motifs and pagoda roofs together with Western massing and layout. It was completed in 1917 for Ruth Comfort Mitchell Young, a writer, and her husband, Sanborn Young, a gentleman farmer, conservationist and later California State Senator. The house is now a private residence.

Manresa was a restaurant in Los Gatos, California that specialized in California cuisine. It was founded in 2002 by chef David Kinch. The Michelin Guide: San Francisco, Bay Area and Wine Country conferred two Michelin stars on the restaurant in 2007, and upgraded it to three stars in 2016.The San Francisco Chronicle rated the restaurant four stars in 2015. In 2012, Forbes rated Manresa the best restaurant in the United States. The restaurant was also a finalist in the 2014 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurant.In November 2022, Kinch announced Manresa's closure with its final day being December 31 of that year.
