Fellowship School is a school located at Gowalia Tank, August Kranti Marg in South Mumbai, India. Established in 1927, the school provides education in Gujarati and English mediums. It mainly caters to children coming from the affluent Gujarati business community. The Fellowship Society Trust, which runs or manages the School tied up with another trust and opened a new school on its campus. Bright Start Fellowship School offered ICSE Co-Education, but has converted to offer IGCSE (an education curriculum introduced by Cambridge University).

M.S.P.T High School is a secondary school in the Gamdevi district of Mumbai. It was established in 1905 as Master Sitaldas Punwani Tutorial High School. Lamington Road, officially Dr. Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg, named after Lord Lamington, the Governor of Bombay between 1903 and 1907, is a busy thoroughfare near Grant Road station in South Mumbai. The official name of the road is rarely used. It is often called the "IT shop of Mumbai".Lamington Road is famous for its wholesale and retail market in electronics goods. Shops on the street sell computer goods, electronic items, television equipment, and wireless equipment at rates much lower than the maximum retail price as they have a high turnover. They sell not only the latest computer related items but even outdated electronic parts for radios like transistors, capacitors, cables, sound cards, TV tuners and adaptors. Lamington road is the third largest grey market in India for electronic goods and peripherals after Nehru Place in Delhi and Ritchie street in Chennai.

Babulnath Mandir is an ancient Shiva mandir in Mumbai, India. Situated on a small hillock near Girgaum Chowpatty, it is one of oldest mandirs in the city, Shiva in the form of the Lord of the Babul tree is the main deity in this temple. The faithful climb up to the mandir and obtain Darshan of the shivling and obtain blessings of the Lord. It is also possible to take an elevator up to the temple. The temples is visited by lakhs of devotees on annual Mahashivratri festival.

Lodha Altamount is a postmodern luxury residential skyscraper project located in the billionaires row of Mumbai, India. It has been designed by Hadi Teherani. Lodha Group acquired the area from the US consulate for ₹341.8 crore, surpassing the bids made by Mahindra Lifespaces and TATA Housing. The previously existing Washington House, home to US Consul General, was a three-storey building, covering an area of 2,702 square meters. It falls under the Coastal Regulation Zone 2 and is listed as Grade 3 Property.

Altamount Road, also known as India's Billionaires’ Row, is an affluent neighbourhood in Mumbai, India. The area is notable for some of the most expensive residences in the world consisting of ultra-luxurious residential skyscrapers, constructed or in development. It is the most expensive street in India and 10th most expensive in the world. The most prominent buildings on the street are The Imperial, Lodha Altamount, Antilia and Raheja One Altamount. The ultra-luxury building boom in the area predates the term "Billionaire's Row."

The Antilia bomb scare occurred on 25 February 2021, when a car containing 20 gelignite sticks was found outside the residence of Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. A note found inside the vehicle, addressed to Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani, said that the act was a prelude and threatened additional violence.The bomb scare was notable for the chain of events which followed, forcing several high-profile officials to resign. The vehicle was traced to Mansukh Hiren, a car-décor shop owner from Thane, who had reported it stolen the previous week. A week later, Hiren was found dead in a Mumbai creek. Sachin Vaze, a Mumbai Police officer known to Hiren, was arrested for his involvement in placing the explosive-laden vehicle. As a result, Mumbai Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh lost his post. Singh wrote a letter to the chief minister alleging that Vaze was operating at the behest of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who was also forced to resign after the Bombay High Court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to inquire into the letter's allegations.
