Taddeo or Taddeo Road (IPA: [t̪aːɽd̪eːʋ]) is a residential and commercial locality of South Mumbai, from Nana Chowk to Haji Ali Junction. Tardeo Road is an important arterial road of the city of Mumbai. The road is currently known as Javji Dadaji Road from Nana Chowk to Taddeo Circle with post code 400007 and Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Road from Taddeo Circle to Haji Ali with post code 400034. Post codes 400007 are served by Grant Road post office and 400034 are served by Tulsiwadi post office. It lies 23 kilometres (14 mi) from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. It is connected by railway through the Mumbai Central railway station as well as by buses operated by BEST, MSRTC, and NMMT. Taddeo houses the Regional Transport Office of Mumbai city.It also has important commercial offices located in the AC Market Building and the Film Centre Building both on the Tardeo Road.In 1999, Taddeo and the city of Mumbai witnessed the opening of its first full-fledged shopping mall Crossroads, converted from an old pharmaceutical plant belonging to 'Roche'. The mall was an instant success and it attracted loads of people from all corners of the city, however the mall eventually contributed to traffic and pollution in the area. Now Crossroads is known as Brand Factory. Old dilapidated mills and structures are now being demolished by property developers to build residential high rises, similar to other areas of Mumbai.The Imperial Towers, for a period of time India's tallest, are located in Taddeo .Taddeo Road also has Mumbai's costliest oval-shaped skyover bridge. It is designed as a cable-stayed bridge, it hangs on a single column placed in the middle of the 650-metre-long (2,130 ft) skywalk.

The Imperial is a modernist style twin-tower residential skyscraper complex in the billionaires row of Mumbai, India. It was the tallest skyscraper in India from 2010 to 2019 when it was overtaken by Lodha The Park which again was overtaken by World One in barely a year's time. It has been home to several high-net-worth individuals.

Lodha Altamount is a postmodern luxury residential skyscraper project located in the billionaires row of Mumbai, India. It has been designed by Hadi Teherani. Lodha Group acquired the area from the US consulate for ₹341.8 crore, surpassing the bids made by Mahindra Lifespaces and TATA Housing. The previously existing Washington House, home to US Consul General, was a three-storey building, covering an area of 2,702 square meters. It falls under the Coastal Regulation Zone 2 and is listed as Grade 3 Property.

The Antilia bomb scare occurred on 25 February 2021, when a car containing 20 gelignite sticks was found outside the residence of Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. A note found inside the vehicle, addressed to Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani, said that the act was a prelude and threatened additional violence.The bomb scare was notable for the chain of events which followed, forcing several high-profile officials to resign. The vehicle was traced to Mansukh Hiren, a car-décor shop owner from Thane, who had reported it stolen the previous week. A week later, Hiren was found dead in a Mumbai creek. Sachin Vaze, a Mumbai Police officer known to Hiren, was arrested for his involvement in placing the explosive-laden vehicle. As a result, Mumbai Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh lost his post. Singh wrote a letter to the chief minister alleging that Vaze was operating at the behest of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who was also forced to resign after the Bombay High Court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to inquire into the letter's allegations.

Altamount Road, also known as India's Billionaires’ Row, is an affluent neighbourhood in Mumbai, India. The area is notable for some of the most expensive residences in the world consisting of ultra-luxurious residential skyscrapers, constructed or in development. It is the most expensive street in India and 10th most expensive in the world. The most prominent buildings on the street are The Imperial, Lodha Altamount, Antilia and Raheja One Altamount. The ultra-luxury building boom in the area predates the term "Billionaire's Row."

Carmichael Road is an upmarket residential street of Mumbai, India. Situated on a ridge in South Mumbai, it is now officially called M.L. Dahanukar Marg. It has many old style bungalows and apartment houses, such as the art deco Kamal Mahal of film director, Kamal Amrohi. Sir Cowasjee Jehangir High School is a co-educational private school in Tardeo, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 1859 by Sir Cowasji Jehangir Readymoney, a notable Parsi community leader, philanthropist and industrialist of the city. The school caters to pupils from kindergarten up to class 10 and is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education which conducts the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations at the close of class 10.

Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre is a private hospital located in Mumbai was founded by philanthropist Seth Lokoomal Chanrai along with surgeon Shantilal Jamnadas Mehta. The hospital was formally inaugurated on 6 July 1973 by the erstwhile Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The hospital got substantial publicity in the late 1970s when Jayaprakash Narayan was admitted for treatment of kidney failure by the nephrologist M. K. Mani. Narayan died there in 1979.In the early 1980s the laboratories run there by P. R. Krishnaswamy had the first fully automated Kontron biochemistry analyzers, an electron microscope and an aminoacid analyser.The India's first recorded AIDS/HIV victim died at the hospital on 9 June 1986, after a fortnight's treatment.The facility suffered during unrest led by trade unionist Datta Samant. On 17 October 1979, after severing the gas, water and telephone connections and crippling the labour force in the hospital, the management had to shift nearly 294 patients to other hospitals in the city. Dr Rindani, the then Medical Director, stood firm, The police were called in and a court injunction prohibiting assembly of the agitating workers was obtained. Samant had to back down for the first time in his brand of union activities.Jaslok Hospital is located at Dr. G. Deshmukh Marg., Peddar Road, South Mumbai, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The name Jaslok is a combination of the names of Seth Lokoomal and his wife, Jasotibai.

Shreepati Arcade was completed in 2002. It is located at Nana Chowk, Mumbai, just off Grant Road bridge in the heart of the city of Mumbai. The building is 153 meters (500 ft) tall and contains 45 floors. There are six Swiss Schindler's lifts, high speed elevators of up to 4 metres per second, which take only 35 seconds to go from Ground to 45th floor. The Fire fighting safety systems within the building are totally automated. It has a sprinkler system, the main and kitchen doors are two hour fire rated and current flows through insulated wires in a 'bus bar' system. The structure is earthquake resistant. The club house of the Shreepati Arcade is equipped with a swimming pool, gymnasium, steam, sauna & jacuzzi. This building has a residence restriction that all residents must be vegetarian. This kind of practice is not considered unusual in India.

Mumbai Central (formerly Bombay Central, station code: MMCT) is a major railway station on the Western line, situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra in an area known by the same name. It serves as a major stop for both local and intercity trains with separate platforms between them. It is also a terminal for several long-distance trains including the Mumbai Rajdhani Express. It is one of the five major terminal stations in Mumbai, the others being Mumbai CSMT, Mumbai LTT, Bandra and Dadar. Trains depart from the station connecting various destinations mostly across states in the northern, western and north-western parts of India. The station was renamed from Bombay Central to Mumbai Central in 1997, following the change of Bombay to Mumbai. In October 2017, Western Railway announced that the station code would change from BCT to MMCT on 1 February 2018.

Sophia College (Autonomous) is an undergraduate women's college established in 1941 by Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The governing body of The Society for the Higher Education of Women in India runs the college. The Religious Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and lay staff form the staff of the college. Sophia, as the name suggests, stands for Wisdom in Greek Σοφία.

Gowalia Tank Maidan (officially renamed August Kranti Maidan) is a park in Tardeo, central Mumbai where Mahatma Gandhi issued the Quit India speech on 8 August 1942 decreeing that the British must leave India immediately or else mass agitations would take place.
