The Founder's Building is the original building of Royal Holloway College, University of London (RHUL), in Egham, Surrey, England. It is an example of French-Renaissance-style architecture in the United Kingdom, having been modelled on French chateaus such as Château de Chambord. Today it is the dominant building on the campus.

The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic church in Englefield Green, Surrey. It is situated on St Cuthbert's Close and faces Harvest Road in the older side of the village close to Egham Hill. It was built from 1930 to 1931 and designed by Joseph Goldie. Although the church is not a listed building, English Heritage, in two separate reports, stated "this is a thumping great church" and "many churches were being built in the Romanesque style in the 1930s ... but Goldie's church is better composed and more competently detailed than most."

Englefield Green is a large village in the Borough of Runnymede, Surrey, England, approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of central London. It is home to Runnymede Meadow, The Commonwealth Air Forces Memorial, The Savill Garden,and Royal Holloway, University of London. The village grew from a hamlet in the 19th century, when much of Egham (1 mile (1.6 km) to the east) was sold by the Crown Estate.

Englefield Green Rovers F.C. was a football club based in Englefield Green, near Egham, England. They were members of the Surrey FA.

The Air Forces Memorial, or Runnymede Memorial, in Englefield Green, near Egham, Surrey, England is a memorial dedicated to some 20,456 men and women from air forces of the British Empire who were lost in air and other operations during World War II. Those recorded have no known grave anywhere in the world, and many were lost without trace. The name of each of these airmen and airwomen is engraved into the stone walls of the memorial, according to country and squadron.

Langham Pond is a 26.7-hectare (66-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Egham in Surrey.The pond and its surrounding alluvial meadows on chalk represent a habitat unique in southern England. The pond is the remains of an oxbow lake, formed when a meander of the River Thames was bypassed. The pond contains all four British duckweeds, three nationally scarce plants and a species of fly which has been found nowhere else in Britain, Cerodontha ornata.

The Royal Indian Engineering College (or RIEC) was a British college of Civil Engineering run by the India Office to train civil engineers for service in the Indian Public Works Department. It was located on the Cooper's Hill estate, near Egham, Surrey. It functioned from 1872 until 1906, when its work was transferred to India. The college was colloquially referred to as Cooper's Hill and I.C.E. College (I.C.E. being an acronym for Indian Civil Engineering).

Castle Hill (originally known as Elvill's) is a large late-18th-century or early-19th-century Grade II listed mansion in Englefield Green, Surrey. The estate totaled 33 acres in 2012, it had previously stood at 108 acres at the time of its 1863 sale. It was designed by Stiff Leadbetter for Sir John Elwill, 4th Baronet and built between 1758 and 1763. The estate was bought by the banker George C. Raphael in the late 19th century.It was purchased by the Ugland Marine Insurance Company in the 1990s. It is presently owned by a foreign royal family.In addition to the main house, the entrance gates, bothy, stable block, and dairy are all individually Grade II listed.

Strode's College is a sixth form college located in Egham, Surrey. It was founded in 1704, when Henry Strode bequeathed £6,000 to set up a free school in his native parish of Egham. In the twentieth century, Strode's became a boys' grammar school, before being designated a sixth form college in 1975. The college also provides a range of day and evening Adult Education courses. Strode's has been part of the Windsor Forest Colleges Group since May 2017. Alumni of the college are sometimes referred to as Old Strodians.

Egham ( EG-əm) is a town in the Borough of Runnymede in Surrey, England, approximately 19 miles (31 km) west of central London. First settled in the Bronze Age, the town was under the control of Chertsey Abbey for much of the Middle Ages. In 1215, Magna Carta was sealed by King John at Runnymede, to the north of Egham, having been chosen for its proximity to the King's residence at Windsor. Under the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th Century, the major, formerly ecclesiastical, manorial freehold interests in the town and various market revenues passed to the Crown.In the 17th and 18th centuries, Egham became a stop on coaching routes between London and many places to the west. The importance of this shrank from the building of the Western and South Western Railways but was for many decades offset by the stark growth in the population of London and the country at large. Egham station was opened in 1856 on the line from Waterloo to Reading and services are operated today by South Western Railway. The town is west of the M25 motorway, accessible via junction 13. The campus of Royal Holloway, University of London is 1 mile (2 km) to the west of Egham town centre, close to Englefield Green.

Runnymede is a water-meadow alongside the River Thames in the English county of Surrey, and just over 20 miles (32 km) west of central London. It is notable for its association with the sealing of Magna Carta, and as a consequence is, with its adjoining hillside, the site of memorials. Runnymede Borough is named after the area, Runnymede being at its northernmost point.

Egham railway station serves the town of Egham in Surrey, England. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by South Western Railway, which also provides the train services. The station is on the Waterloo to Reading line, 21 miles 2 chains (33.8 km) from London Waterloo, between Virginia Water and Staines. The station is also served by trains to Weybridge. The station signs read 'Egham, for Royal Holloway, University of London'. Many students from the University and the nearby Strode's College use the station for travel to and from Egham.
