Dormont Junction is a station on the Red Line route of Pittsburgh Regional Transit's light rail network. It is located in Dormont, Pennsylvania. The station is an important park and ride facility, featuring 132 spaces. West Liberty Avenue, Dormont's main artery, is located one block uphill from the station, in a portion of the street that is lined with automobile dealerships. Opposite the commercial sector, a densely populated residential area is located with many homes within walking distance of the station.

Mt. Lebanon (locally ) is a township with home rule status in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 34,075 at the 2020 census. It is a suburb of Pittsburgh. Established in 1912 as Mount Lebanon, the township was a farming community. With the arrival of the first streetcar lines and the development of the first real estate subdivision, both in 1901, it became a streetcar suburb, offering residents the ability to commute to Downtown Pittsburgh. Furthermore, the opening of the Liberty Tunnel in 1924 allowed easy automobile access to Pittsburgh. In 1975, the renamed Mt. Lebanon adopted one of the first home rule charters in Pennsylvania.

Mt. Lebanon High School is a four-year, comprehensive high school located in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with an enrollment of 1,820 students in grades 9–12 for the 2021–2022 school year. Its mascot is the Blue Devil.

Keystone Oaks School District is a small, public school district in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The district consists of 3 non-contiguous communities and encompasses approximately 5 square miles (13 km2). It was formed in 1965 after the merger of three smaller districts serving Dormont, Castle Shannon (except for a portion that is served by the Bethel Park School District), and Green Tree. The district's name refers to a "key" to a door for Dormont, a "stone" in a castle for Castle Shannon and the "oaks" of Green Tree.According to 2000 federal census data, Keystone Oaks School District serves a resident population of 22,580 people. The district operates five schools: Aiken Elementary (K-5 in Green Tree), Dormont Elementary (K-5 in Dormont), Myrtle Elementary (K-5 in Castle Shannon), Keystone Oaks Middle School, and Keystone Oaks High School.

Dormont is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States and is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The population was 8,593 at the 2010 census. Dormont includes young professionals, working families, and retirees. Dormont is mixed use and urban and features a pedestrian friendly business district, with bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and retail stores. It is famous for one of the largest municipal pools in Pennsylvania, the historic Dormont Pool. Loosely translated, Dormont means "Mountain of Gold" in French.

Kelton was a station on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's light rail network, located in Dormont, Pennsylvania. The street level stop was located in a densely populated residential area. It served commuters within walking distance, providing access toward Downtown Pittsburgh, South Hills Village, or Library. The busy commercial corridor along West Liberty Avenue was also accessible, located two blocks from the station. Kelton was one of eleven stops closed on June 25, 2012 as part of a system-wide consolidation effort.

First Church of Christ, Scientist, built in 1939, was an historic redbrick Colonial Revival style Christian Science church located at 1100 Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Its entrance portico was supported by 6 Corinthian columns on the front and 4 on the rear. The steeple was centered behind the portico. Its auditorium has 18-foot (5.5 m) high plain glass arched windows on either side. Like most Christian Science churches, the focal point of its auditorium was the readers' platform with its double lectern to accommodate the two Readers who conduct the service. It was designed by noted Chicago-based architect Charles Draper Faulkner, who was renowned for the churches and other buildings that he designed in the United States and Japan. He designed over 33 Christian Science church buildings and wrote a book called Christian Science Church Edifices which features this church as well as many others.In 2002, Mt. Lebanon magazine featured First Church of Christ, Scientist, along with 3 other local churches in an article on Colonial style churches.First Church of Christ, Scientist, building at 1100 Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon, was sold in July 2018. It was demolished in December 2021.

Arlington is a station on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's light rail network, located in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania. The street level stop is designed to serve a nearby commercial strip, providing access for local residents to businesses along Mt. Lebanon Boulevard. Nearby Cooke Drive is also lined with apartments, allowing local light rail access for residents of these dwellings.

Potomac is a station on the Red Line route of Pittsburgh Regional Transit's light rail network. It is located in Dormont, Pennsylvania. The station serves as a small commuter stop, featuring 22 parking spaces. It is located in a densely populated residential area and is designed to provide the primary access route for area residents to Downtown Pittsburgh.
