Tarbes Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-la-Sède de Tarbes) is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Tarbes, Hautes-Pyrénées, France. The cathedral is a national monument and is the seat of the Bishop of Tarbes et Lourdes.

The arrondissement of Tarbes is an arrondissement of France in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region. It has 212 communes. Its population is 140,961 (2016), and its area is 1,380.4 km2 (533.0 sq mi).

Tarbes (French pronunciation: [taʁb]; Gascon: Tarba) is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region of southwestern France. It is the capital of Bigorre and of the Hautes-Pyrénées. It has been a commune since 1790. It was known as Turba or Tarba in Roman times. Tarbes is part of the historical region of Gascony. Formerly of strong industrial tradition, Tarbes today tries to diversify its activities, particularly in aeronautics and high tech around the different zones of activities which are increasing. The recent development of Tarbais beans and other regional specialties also shows a willingness to develop the agri-food industry thus justifying its nickname of "market town". Its 42,888 inhabitants are called Tarbaises and the Tarbais. It is the seat of the diocese of Tarbes-et-Lourdes. The 1st Parachute Hussar Regiment and 35th Parachute Artillery Regiment are stationed in Tarbes.

Tarbes station (French: Gare de Tarbes) is a railway station in Tarbes, Occitanie, France. The station is on the Toulouse–Bayonne railway line. The station is served by TGV (high speed trains), Intercités de Nuit (night trains), Intercités (long distance) and TER (local) services operated by the SNCF.

Jardin Massey is a public garden in Tarbes, France built in the 19th century by Placide Massey (1777-1853), horticulturist of the French King Louis Philippe I and previous chief of the Palace of Versailles' gardens. The Jardin Massey has been put on the list of the Remarkable Gardens of France by the French government in 2004. The garden contains several interesting buildings such as: the Musée Massey (international Hussar museum), the orangery, the cloister (bought from the abbey of Saint-Sever-de-Rustan), the School of art and ceramics.The garden also contains rare or interesting trees, flowers, and animals.

The Hôtel de Ville (French pronunciation: [otɛl də vil], City Hall) is a municipal building in Tarbes, Hautes-Pyrénées, in southwestern France, standing on Place Jean Jaurès.

The cantons of Tarbes are administrative divisions of the Hautes-Pyrénées department, in southwestern France. Since the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015, the city of Tarbes is subdivided into 3 cantons. Their seat is in Tarbes.

Stade Maurice Trélut is part of the Tarbes sports complex in Tarbes, France. It comprises a main stadium with a capacity of 16,400 of which 12,000 places are seated. The main stadium is mostly used by the Tarbes French Rugby Union team, Tarbes Pyrénées Rugby who play in the French ProD2 league. The rugby stadium is made up of one large all-seater stand (Main stand) which houses club facilities, plus two other seated stands and one area of terracing. On March 14, 2014, it hosted a Six Nations Under 20s Championship match between France and Ireland with France winning 23 - 13. Also on the site is a smaller stadium which hosts the Tarbes Pyrénées Football home games with a capacity of 3,000. This smaller venue is a single stand stadium with the remaining three sides restricted to standing areas. The stand seats 1,200 people and also contains the football club facilities. Also found in the complex are extensive all-weather training pitches, an indoor sports hall, tennis courts, social club buildings and parking areas. The stadium was named for a mayor of Tarbes, Maurice Trelut (1935–1944) who played for the rugby club Stadoceste Tarbais.

The École nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT (English: National School of Engineers of Tarbes) is a French school of engineering leading to the French “Diplôme d'Ingénieur” under the authority of the French Ministry of Education and Research and part of the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT). Founded in 1963, about 200 students graduate from the ENIT each year. ENIT is part of the ENI group (national schools of engineers), which is a network of 4 French public engineering schools.

Laloubère (French pronunciation: [lalubɛʁ]; Occitan: La Lobèra) is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France.

Aureilhan (French pronunciation: [oʁɛjɑ̃]; Occitan: Aurelhan) is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in southwestern France.

Bordères-sur-l'Échez (French pronunciation: [bɔʁdɛʁ syʁ leʃɛs], literally Bordères on the Échez; Occitan: Bordèras) is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in southwestern France. It is approximately 6 km northwest of Tarbes.
