Hartlebury Common

All Saints Church in Wilden, Worcestershire about one mile to the north east of Stourport. It was designed by William Hopkins with funds provided by Alfred Baldwin very close to his own home, Wilden House and one of his large iron works. It served the Baldwin family and their employees and was consecrated in 1880. The church has been designated as Grade II listed by Historic England.The original windows were replaced, between 1902 and 1914, with 14 designs by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, a brother-in-law of Alfred Baldwin. Louisa Baldwin commissioned the windows. She is buried at the church. The windows are dedicated to members of the MacDonald, Baldwin and Burne-Jones families; one shows Louisa Baldwin's only child, the future prime minister, Stanley Baldwin, setting out on life's journey accompanied by a guardian angel.The church has been linked in pastoral oversight with the parish church of Stourport, St Michael's and All Angels, for a number of years.

Wilden is a small village about 1 mile north east of Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire. It is in the Stour valley and both the River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal pass through the parish before joining the River Severn at Stourport. Nearby is Wilden Marsh, a nature reserve of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.

Stourport power stations were two electricity generating stations that supplied electricity to Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire and to the wider West Midlands area from 1927 to 1984. The two stations, A (1927–78) and B (1950–84), were collocated on a joint site adjacent to the River Severn south of Stourport-on-Severn.

The Stour (, rhymes with "flour") is a river flowing through the counties of Worcestershire, the West Midlands and Staffordshire in the West Midlands region of England. The Stour is a major tributary of the River Severn, and it is about 25 miles (40 km) in length. It has played a considerable part in the economic history of the region.

Stourport-on-Severn railway station was the main station in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, England. The station, originally named 'Stourport', opened on 1 February 1862 as part of the Severn Valley Railway. It had two platforms and a passing loop from opening. It was renamed Stourport-on-Severn in October 1934, possibly to avoid confusion with the nearby town of Stourbridge.The station closed when passenger services between Hartlebury and Bewdley were withdrawn on 5 January 1970. Although the line to Hartlebury remained open to coal traffic to the former Stourport Power Station until 1982 when it was closed after closure of the power station.The site is now occupied by housing development although there is a footpath on the former line to Hartlebury and towards the former Stourport Power Station. The trackbed towards Bewdley is now hemmed in by modern development and no longer traceable other than near Bewdley end.

Stourport-on-Severn, often shortened to Stourport, is a town and civil parish in the Wyre Forest District of North Worcestershire, England, a few miles to the south of Kidderminster and downstream on the River Severn from Bewdley. At the 2011 census, it had a population of 20,292.

Hartlebury Castle, a Grade I listed building, near Hartlebury in Worcestershire, central England, was built in the mid-13th century as a fortified manor house, on manorial land earlier given to the Bishop of Worcester by King Burgred of Mercia. It lies near Stourport-on-Severn in an area with several large manors and country houses, including Witley Court, Astley Hall, Pool House, Areley Hall and Hartlebury and Abberley Hall. Later, it became the bishop's principal residence.

Worcestershire County Museum is a local museum located within Hartlebury Castle in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, England, near the City of Worcester. The Museum is one of three sites run by Museums Worcestershire, a Museums Service run in partnership between Worcester City Council and Worcestershire County Council.The County Museum's displays and objects originally came from the personal collection of the Parker family who lived at Tickenhill Manor, Bewdley. Their intention was to represent folk customs and trades of Worcestershire, and they donated almost 30 tonnes of historic materials. In 1964, the north wing of Hartlebury Castle was re-purposed for the County Museum and it opened to the public there in 1966. The collections include archaeological items, costumes, domestic objects, and toys. There are also a Victorian schoolroom and a Transport Gallery. Other facilities include a nature reserve, cafe, and gift shop.

The Tontine Buildings is a former hotel in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, built in the late 18th century by the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal Company. It is a Grade II* listed building.

The Stourport High School & VIth Form Centre, formerly known as the Stourport High School and Language College, opened to students in 1956 as an 11-18 school. The starting age was increased to 13 during the 1970s, but reverted to 11 in 2007 as part of the Wyre Forest Review. The school is located in the town of Stourport-on-Severn in Worcestershire, England. It was built to replace the Stourport Secondary Modern School, which was formerly Lickhill Middle.

Stourport Swifts Football Club are a football team from Stourport-on-Severn, and one of the oldest non-league teams in the country. The Swifts currently play in the Midland League Premier Division, and play at Walshes Meadow in the town.

Droitwich Spa Football Club is a football club representing the town of Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, England. They are currently members of the Midland League Division One and played at King George V Fields until 2017. For the 2017/18 season they ground shared with Stourport Swifts F.C. at Stourport Swifts' Walshes Meadow. The club returned to Droitwich during the 2022/23 season with the completion of redevelopment work at their King George V ground. The ground was officially opened on 10th November 2022 by former England national football team player and manager, Kevin Keegan [1]. The team are known as 'The Saltmen'.
