The Arboretum at Arizona State University is an arboretum located in small exhibit sites scattered across walkways and open areas throughout the campus of the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. All of the sites are open to the public daily without charge, since the campus' public areas are not shut off from city streets. The arboretum was formally dedicated in 1990, and now includes over 300 species from the Sonoran Desert and other regions. It contains one of the best collections of date palms and conifers in the desert Southwest, as well as a growing collection of native southwestern plants. Desert Financial Arena (formerly ASU Activity Center and Wells Fargo Arena) is a 14,198-seat multi-purpose arena located at 600 E Veterans Way in Tempe, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. It sits immediately east of Mountain America Stadium on the northern edge of the Tempe campus of Arizona State University (ASU). Constructed in the spring of 1974 as the University Activity Center (or the "You-Ack") and at the cost of $8 million, it is the home of men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball and former home of women's gymnastics and men's wrestling. The facility also plays host to graduation ceremonies and a variety of concerts and shows. The building replaced Sun Devil Gym as the primary arena for the Sun Devils' basketball team. The former naming rights for the arena were purchased by Wells Fargo & Co. in 1997. The current naming rights to arena were purchased by Desert Financial Credit Union in 2019 for $1.5 million for 5 years.

The Mona Plummer Aquatic Center is the aquatic center used by the Arizona State University Sun Devils swim team. It opened in 1981, cost four million dollars to build, and is named after Mona Plummer. Plummer was a national championship winning coach who died in 1979; she coached during three decades.The complex consists of three pools, including an Olympic-size competition pool, and a diving platform; it has seating for 2,000. It is located on the ASU campus in Tempe, Arizona. The facility hosted the 1989, 1991, 1993, and 1998 Pac-10 Diving Championships, as well as the 1981, 1991, and 1999 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships. The venue is regarded as one of the best collegiate aquatic centers in the nation.In October 2011, a former ASU swimmer drowned at the facility.

Veterans Way/College Ave, also known as the Tempe Transportation Center, is a regional transportation center on Valley Metro Rail in Tempe, Arizona, United States. As part of the regional transportation system, it is also the location of stops on multiple bus routes. A bike station is located here. This station has three names: Valley Metro calls the train platforms of this station Veterans Way/College Ave and the local bus bays the Tempe Transportation Center. Both are part of the same facility and immediately adjacent to Sun Devil Stadium which serves as the station's third name, as shown on the train platform signs. Bus schedules, train maps, and local signage all refer variously to only one of the names.

Tempe Butte (O'odham: ʼOidbaḍ Doʼag) is the official name of an andesite butte of volcanic origin, located partially on Arizona State University's Tempe campus in Tempe, Arizona. It is often referred to by locals as A Mountain, after the 60-foot-tall (18 m) gold-painted letter 'A' near the top. Another name for the area, used by the City of Tempe, is Hayden Butte. The highest point of Tempe Butte stands at 1,495 feet (456 m) in elevation, while its base is at approximately 1,150 feet (350 m) in elevation. Tempe Butte is most often seen as the backdrop to games held in Sun Devil Stadium, including until recently the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, as well as Super Bowl XXX.

Mullett Arena (originally ASU Multi-Purpose Arena) is an indoor multipurpose arena at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. The 5,000-seat arena is the home of the men's ice hockey, women's ice hockey, women's gymnastics, women's volleyball, and men's wrestling teams. It also serves as a temporary venue for the National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes from 2022 through at least 2025, with seating capacity for NHL games capped at 4,600. The facility is owned by Arizona State University and managed by the Oak View Group.

The Harrington–Birchett House is a former residence in downtown Tempe, Arizona. Originally built in 1895, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Mary Lou Fulton Institute and Graduate School of Education (known as FIGSE) at Arizona State University was established in 1954. It disestablished in 2010 by Provost Elizabeth Capaldi amidst strong objections from faculty, students, and relevant professional organizations. FIGSE is sometimes confused with ASU's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, which was renamed from the regional teaching-intensive West campus College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL) at the same time the historic FIGSE was disestablished.

Old St. Mary's Church – formerly Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, and also known as "The Old Church: – at 230 East University Avenue in Tempe, Arizona, is a historic church at the built in 1903 and designed in the Romanesque Revival style by Father Severin Westhoff. It is the longest standing church in the Phoenix metropolitan area and served as a Catholic parish for the Tempe area until 1968, when it became home to the Arizona State University Newman Center. It currently serves as home to Mary College at ASU, a center for Catholic Studies formed in partnership between the University of Mary and Arizona State University, the Diocese of Phoenix, and the All Saints Catholic Newman Center. The Newman Center's offices and chapel stand adjacent to the historic church. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 under the name "Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church". It is the only example of Romanesque Revival architecture in the Tempe area, and one of only a few in Arizona.

Packard Stadium was a college baseball park in the southwestern United States, located in Tempe, Arizona, a suburb just east of Phoenix. It was the home field of the Arizona State Sun Devils of the Pac-12 Conference from 1974 to 2014. Opened in 1974, it was named for William Guthrie Packard, longtime president of Shepard's Citations, made possible by a gift from his children, Guthrie and Peter, who were ASU alumni. The stadium was designed by Guirey, Srnka, Arnold & Sprinkle Architects and built by E. F. Hargett & Company.In 2001, the playing surface was renamed Bobby Winkles Field in honor of Bobby Winkles, the school's first varsity baseball coach, who coached the Sun Devils to a 574–173 (.768) record from 1959–71. In 2006, the name of Jim Brock, the school's all-time winningest varsity coach, was added to the stadium. He coached the Sun Devils to a 1100–440 (.714) record from 1972–94, As a result, the full name of the stadium was "Bobby Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark." Packard Stadium underwent upgrade renovations beginning in 1997. The construction of a $1 million players clubhouse and events plaza down the left field line was completed in August 2004. The structure featured a state-of-the-art clubhouse for the Sun Devil players, including custom hardwood lockers, a training room, video room and an equipment storage area. The top level of the clubhouse was an events plaza for hosted outings during games and also had an office for the coaching staff.The outfield wall was lined with orange trees and just beyond the left field fence was the East Rio Salado Parkway and Tempe Town Lake. The diamond was aligned northeast (home plate to center field), at an approximate elevation of 1,150 feet (350 m) above sea level. The Sun Devils have an all-time record of 2358–1154 (.671) in 93 seasons of baseball, with 33 post-season appearances and 21 College World Series appearances. With five NCAA titles (1965, 1967, 1969, 1977, 1981), ASU is tied for third. In 46 years of varsity baseball dating back to 1959, ASU is 2025–809–1 (.714).Packard's existence was made possible through a gift to Arizona State from Guthrie and Peter Packard. Both are alumni of ASU, and the stadium is a tribute to their late father, a prominent member of the publishing industry for many years. Mr. Packard served Shepard's Citations for 51 years rising to president and chairman of the board.In 2013, the Sun Devils ranked 20th among Division I baseball programs in attendance, averaging 2,809 per home game.

The Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies was founded in 1960, on the Tempe Campus of Arizona State University, and houses the world's largest university-based meteorite collection. The collection contains specimens from over 1,600 separate meteorite falls and finds, and is actively used internationally for planetary, geological and space science research. The Center also operates a meteorite museum which is open to the public. In 2021, the Center for Meteorite Studies was named in honor of Professor Peter R. Buseck.

The Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (ACMRS) was established in 1981, by the Arizona Board of Regents as a state-wide, tri-university research unit that bridges the intellectual communities at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Arizona. Located centrally on the campus of Arizona State University, ACMRS is charged with coordinating and stimulating interdisciplinary research about medieval and early modern literature and culture.
