KFIS (104.1 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Scappoose, Oregon, and serving the Portland metropolitan area. It is owned by the Salem Media Group and airs a Contemporary Christian (CCM) radio format. As with other Salem CCM stations in cities such as Los Angeles and Atlanta, KFIS uses the branding "The Fish", a symbol was often used by the early Christian church.The studios and offices are on SE Lake Road in Southeast Portland off the Milwaukie Expressway. The transmitter is off SW Fairmount Court in Portland.

It is owned by Salem Communications and serves the Portland metropolitan area, with a Christian talk and teaching radio format. The studios and offices are on SE Lake Road in Portland. KPDQ-FM is co-owned with KPDQ, also a Christian talk and teaching station. Each station runs its own schedule. Among the religious leaders heard on KPDQ-FM are Chuck Swindoll, Dr. David Jeremiah, Jim Daly, Dr. Tony Evans and John MacArthur. Hosts pay Salem Media for time on the station and may use their broadcasts to appeal for donations to their ministries. KPDQ-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts (52,000 with beam tilt). The main transmitter is atop Portland's west hills, off SW Fairmount Court. In addition, KPDQ-FM is heard on four FM translator stations, to improve reception in other Oregon communities.

Marquam Nature Park is a 178.25-acre (72.14 ha) park, located in Portland, Oregon, United States. The park was acquired by Portland Parks & Recreation in 1979. Marquam Nature Park is in Southwest Portland in the Tualatin Mountains, also known as the West Hills, and has several miles of hiking trails.

Healy Heights is a Portland, Oregon neighborhood in the West Hills of the city's Southwest section. Though recognized by the city as a neighborhood in its own right, it lies entirely within the boundaries of the city's Southwest Hills neighborhood. The branch offers the Multnomah County Library catalog of two million books, periodicals and other materials. The original library building at this location opened in 1957 and was replaced by a new building on the same site in 2004. The new library, a green building designed to minimize environmental impacts, has 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) of floor space and a storage capacity of 75,000 volumes.

The Hillsdale district is a neighborhood in the southwest section of Portland, Oregon, United States. It is centered on the Hillsdale retail and business area, a series of strip malls on SW Capitol Highway between SW Sunset Boulevard and SW Bertha Boulevard. It is home to the Hillsdale Farmer's Market, which takes place on Sundays during the summer and every other Sunday during the winter. Hillsdale is also home to Oregon's first brewpub, with the opening of McMenamins Hillsdale Brewery in 1985. A cornerstone of the neighborhood is the Hillsdale Library, which opened in 1957. The building closed in 2001 for remodeling, and reopened March 4, 2004. When completed, the library was named a Certified Gold LEED Building. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It was the first LEED building in Portland. As of 2019, the Hillsdale Library is the fifth busiest branch in Multnomah County.Hillsdale borders Southwest Hills, Healy Heights, and Homestead on the north, South Portland on the east, South Burlingame and Multnomah on the south, and Hayhurst and Bridlemile on the west. Oregon Route 10 connects Hillsdale to Downtown Portland to the north and to Raleigh Hills and Beaverton to the west. Hillsdale is the center of Portland's Jewish community.

Homestead is a Southwest Portland, Oregon, United States, neighborhood in the city's West Hills. The neighborhood is home to Marquam Nature Park (SW Marquam St. & Sam Jackson Park Rd.), which offers urban hiking in the form of the Marquam Trail, which one can follow to Downtown. Scenic Terwilliger Boulevard also passes through the neighborhood. Though primarily residential, the northern portion of the neighborhood includes two regionally important medical complexes on Marquam Hill: the main campus of Oregon Health & Science University, and Portland Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Portland Aerial Tram connects these complexes to the South Waterfront district in the South Portland neighborhood on the Willamette River south of Downtown.

The Marquam Manor is a historic residential building located at 3211 SW 10th Avenue in Southwest Portland, Oregon. It was constructed in 1930 by Elmer E. Feig and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 27, 1993.

Marquam Hill is a populated hill located just south of Downtown Portland, Oregon, United States in the Homestead neighborhood. It is also called Pill Hill because it is home to Oregon Health & Science University, Portland VA Medical Center and Portland Shriners Hospital.Marquam Hill was named for Philip A. Marquam. It is classed by the United States Geological Survey as a populated place and not as a hill. It is part of the Tualatin Mountains, along with nearby Council Crest and Portland Heights.
