The Moine is a river in western France. It is a 68.8 km (42.8 mi) long right tributary of the Sèvre Nantaise. It flows into the Sèvre Nantaise in Clisson. The towns Cholet and Sèvremoine lie on the Moine.

Église Notre Dame is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Clisson, France. It was founded by Olivier V de Clisson in the 14th–15th century. The church was razed during the War in the Vendée, and later renovated under the Empire in the early 19th century. It was completely demolished and rebuilt in 1885–88 by Nantais architect René Ménard, modelled after Roman basilicas. It is a listed monument since 2006.

Clisson (French pronunciation: [klisɔ̃] ; Gallo: Cliczon, Breton: Klison), is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department, in the region of Pays de la Loire, western France. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Sèvre Nantaise and Moine, 17 miles (27 km) southeast of Nantes.The town and the celebrated family of Clisson (the most famous members are Olivier IV de Clisson and Jeanne de Clisson) take their name from their stronghold. Clisson has its imposing ruins, parts of which date from the thirteenth century.The town and castle, the château de Clisson, were destroyed in 1792 and 1793 during the War in the Vendée.Afterwards, the sculptor François-Frédéric Lemot bought the castle, and the town was rebuilt in the early part of the 19th century according to his plans. There are picturesque parks on the banks of the rivers. The Moine is crossed by an old gothic bridge and by a fine modern viaduct.

The canton of Clisson is an administrative division of the Loire-Atlantique department, western France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Clisson.It consists of the following communes:

Cugand (French pronunciation: [kyɡɑ̃]) is a commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. It is part of the urban unit of Clisson.

La Bernardière (French pronunciation: [la bɛʁnaʁdjɛʁ]) is a commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France.
