Rödermark-Ober Roden station (German: Bahnhof Rödermark-Ober Roden) is the station of the Rödermark suburb of Ober-Roden in the German state of Hesse. It is the southern terminus of line S1 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn and a stop for Regionalbahn services on the Dreieich Railway. It is classified in station category 4 and is a hub for public transport. The station building is a listed building.

The town was first mentioned in documents over 750 years ago. In 1971 the adjacent town of Altheim agreed to become part of Münster.

Dieburg (German pronunciation: [ˈdiːˌbʊʁk] ) is a small town in southern Hesse, Germany. It was formerly the seat of the district ("Kreis") of Dieburg, but is now part of the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg.

Groß-Zimmern is a municipality in the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg, in Hessen, Germany. It is situated 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of Darmstadt and right next to Dieburg. In 1846, over 700 town residents emigrated in the Great Migration to New York City. The town paid for the passage of 674 passengers and about 100 more paid their own way. The emigrants sailed on at least five ships – the Atlas (46%), the Sardinia (37%), the Manchester (6%), the Montezuma (7%), and the Pontiac (6%). 425 of the emigrants had no funds or food when they landed in New York city and entered the Bellevue Almshouse which overloaded the capacity of the Almshouse. New York City petitioned the US Congress to pass laws that would prevent the arrival of paupers on overcrowded ships to the United States.

Rodgau is a town in the Offenbach district in the Regierungsbezirk of Darmstadt in Hesse, Germany. It lies southeast of Frankfurt am Main in the Frankfurt Rhine Main Region and has the greatest population of any municipality in the Offenbach district. It came into being in 1979 when the greater community of Rodgau was raised to town, after having been formed through a merger of five formerly self-administering communities in the framework of municipal reform in Hesse in 1977. The current constituent communities’ history reaches back to the 8th century.

Dietzenbach station (Dietzenbach Bahnhof) is the terminus of the Offenbach-Bieber–Dietzenbach railway in the German state of Hesse. The station is now used exclusively by line S2 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn. The entrance building is protected as a monument. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.

The Mainzer Berg is a forested hill between the cities of Darmstadt and Dieburg in the southern part of Hesse, Germany. It is part of the northernmost ridge of the Odenwald range and there is a telecommunication tower of 96 meter height on its top. Just two kilometres northwest of the hill is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Messel pit.

Dietzenbach (German pronunciation: [ˈdiːtsn̩ˌbax] ) is the seat of Offenbach district in the Regierungsbezirk of Darmstadt in Hesse, Germany and lies roughly 12 km southeast of Frankfurt am Main on the waterstream Bieber. Before the Second World War, the current town was a farming village with not quite 4,000 inhabitants. However, after the war, there was a considerable upswing in the population due to refugees settling in the community. From the 1970s onwards, Dietzenbach's population rose rapidly, reaching some 33,000 by 2006. Just under a third of the inhabitants have roots in more than a hundred nations outside Germany. Agricultural buildings are nowadays seldom seen in Dietzenbach. In 2001, Dietzenbach hosted the 41st Hessentag state festival.
