Kampung Kerdas is a village located in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. Kampung Kerdas is situated alongside Jalan Gombak. Nearby areas neighbouring this village are Kampung Changkat, Taman Kamariah and Taman Gombak Jaya.

Gombak (previously known as the Terminal PUTRA LRT station) is an LRT station in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the northern terminus for the RapidKL Kelana Jaya Line. There is a ticket counter for buses to Genting Highlands, with buses departing to the Genting Skyway station every half-hour. These buses belong to and are operated by Resorts World Berhad and therefore bear their logo on it. This station is normally utilised by residents of Kuala Lumpur, especially those living around Setapak area when they are going to Genting. The Gombak toll plaza, the beginning of the East Coast Expressway (LPT) , is one kilometre north from this station. Currently this station is the northernmost in the RapidKL rail transport network.

Batu Caves (Tamil: பத்து மலை : Pathumalai) is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Malay word batu, meaning 'rock'. The hill was originally known as Kapal Tanggang from the legend of Si Tanggang. The town nearby is named after the Batu Caves limestone formation. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of the Tamil festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. Batu Caves in short also referred as 10th Caves or Hill for Lord Murugan as there are six important holy shrines in India and four more in Malaysia. The three others in Malaysia are Kallumalai Temple in Ipoh, Tanneermalai Temple in Penang and Sannasimalai Temple in Malacca.

Lord Murugan Statue (Tamil: முருகன் சிலை; Bahasa Malaysia: Tugu Dewa Murugga), is the tallest statue of a Hindu deity in Malaysia and third tallest statue of a Hindu deity in the world, after Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue in Indonesia and Kailashnath Mahadev Statue in Nepal. It is also the tallest statue in Malaysia at 42.7 metres (140 ft) in height. The statue was built by Tamil Malaysians. It took three years to construct, and was unveiled in January 2006 during Thaipusam festival. The managing authority of the temple rests with the Tamil descendants. Inspired by this statue, 146 ft tall Puthiragoundampalayam Murugan Statue was sculpted in Salem district of Tamil Nadu in 2022.Every year, thousands of devotees from Tamil Nadu & Sri Lanka visit this temple to pay their tributes to the deity at the auspicious day of Thaipusam according to the Tamil Calendar. It is located at the Sri Murugan Perumal Kovil at the foot of Batu Caves.

Kampung Sungai Mulia or simply Sungai Mulia is a village located along the 4th Mile Jalan Gombak. It is located in the town of Gombak on the Kuala Lumpur side. Neighbouring places are Kampung Kerdas, Kampung Padang Balang, and Taman Setapak.

Kampung Padang Balang or Padang Balang is the oldest surviving traditional village in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was circumferenced by Gombak Road, Jalan Kampung Bandar Dalam, Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 and Gombak River.

Zaid bin Haritsah Mosque or Masjid Zaid bin Haritsah formerly known as Masjid Jamek Sungai Mulia is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This mosque is located at kilometre 8 of Jalan Gombak and it was opened on 1991.

Batu Caves Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter railway station formerly known as Batu Caves Railway station at Batu Caves, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. After redevelopment, the station was reopened in August 2010. The station was from 2010 the northern terminus for the KTM Komuter's Batu Caves–Port Klang Route until December 2015 when the Seremban Line routing was changed to terminate at this station instead of Rawang.

Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, abbreviated TARUMT, is a non-profit, private university in Malaysia. Named after the country's first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the school was founded in 1969 as Tunku Abdul Rahman College (or TAR College) by the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA). On 2 May 2013, it officially became a university college, known as Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC). On 12 April 2022, TAR UC was upgraded to a full-fledged university and renamed as Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). TARUMT is one of the largest and oldest institutions of higher learning in Malaysia with more than 220,000 students having passed through its doors. TAR EC College, abbreviated as TAR EC, is a non-profit, private early childhood education college in Malaysia, registered with Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). It is located in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, adjacent to Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Kuala Lumpur Main Campus. The institute was established in 1993 and was the only private and non-profit institution of higher learning, concentrating solely on pre-school teachers’ training in Malaysia. Over the past 19 years, more than 2,500 pre-school teachers have graduated from the institute. On 1 November 2015, TAR EC College signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Pingtung University (NPTU), Taiwan to allow graduates from early childhood education further studies in this university.The institute also have partnership with professional bodies such as Early Childhood Care and Education Council and Association of Professional Early Childhood Educators Malaysia.

VTAR Institute, abbreviated as VTAR, is a private vocational college located at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. VTAR Institute was formerly known as Institute Jayadiri which was founded in 1992 as a community project of Koperasi Jayadiri Malaysia Berhad and conducts its classes in some shoplots in Old Klang Road. Then in 2000 Institute Jayadiri was relocated to Wisma MCA and renamed Kojadi Institute.
