Denver Technological Center, better known as The Denver Tech Center or DTC, is a business and economic trading center located in Colorado in the southeastern portion of the Denver Metropolitan Area, within portions of the cities of Denver and Greenwood Village. It is home to several major businesses and corporations. The DTC roughly corresponds to the area surrounding the I-25 corridor between I-225 and SH 88 (Arapahoe Road) and has a similar business community reputation to Irvine, California.

Platt College is a private, for-profit college in Aurora, Colorado. Platt College currently offers only one degree program, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 3 years. Platt College graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Orchard station is an light rail station in Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States. It is served by the E and R Lines, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and was opened on November 17, 2006. The station features a public art installation of stamped concrete illustrating magnified apple leaves and stainless steel birds entitled Orchard Memory. It was created by Wopo Holup and dedicated in 2006.

Other subsidiaries offered locomotive and freight car leasing to its own railroads and to third parties, and also freight car cleaning. Pioneer Lines also had interests in real estate and newsletter publishing. It was previously owned by BRX Transportation Holdings starting in 2019.The company, originally named Pioneer Railroad Company, was founded on January 30, 1986 by Guy L. Brenkman. The company raised the capital for its first acquisition through a self-underwritten public stock offering. It continued this method of raising capital for subsequent acquisitions. Almost all of the short lines owned by Pioneer are lines spun off by Class I railroads. On August 8, 2022 Patriot Rail Company announced its intention to acquire Pioneer Lines. The company was acquired by Patriot Rail on September 14, 2022.

Southmoor station is an light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. It is served by the E and H Lines, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and was opened on November 17, 2006. It is the southernmost station before the Interstate 225 branch splits from the Southeast Corridor and serves as a transfer station for each line.The station features an interactive piece of public art entitled Harmonic Pass: Denver. Created by Christopher Janney, it features a mixture of light and sound throughout the pedestrian tunnel. Within each column are photoelectric sensors and an audio speaker. Also, a riddle is etched on plaques on both ends of the tunnel. If a person can decipher the riddle and trigger the columns in the pattern described, the tunnel will “dance” a pattern of light and sound in reply.

It is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and is the largest high school in the Denver metro area, with an 80-acre (320,000 m2) campus and approcimately 3,800 students. Thomas Jefferson High School is a secondary school located in the Southmoor Park neighborhood, on the southeast side of Denver, Colorado, United States. It is operated under the Denver Public Schools. The school teams are the Spartans. The school and its athletic fields are undergoing significant renovations, both of which were built in 1960. The school offers Advanced Placement classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies, and Spanish. It also hosts a gifted program in various areas of study, such as the Computer Magnet Program, JROTC, concurrent enrollment and X-Track courses. Thomas Jefferson's programs include a student-run newspaper, student-run newscasting, Computer Magnet Program (CCT), yearbook assembled in-house, diversity club, National Honor Society, and DECA.

The arrest of Robert Jonathan Seacat was the culmination of a destructive 19.48-hour standoff with American police in June 2015. After being chased by police for stealing clothing from a Walmart, Seacat barricaded himself in a house at 4219 South Alton Street in Greenwood Village, Colorado. By the time Seacat was finally extracted from the premises, the house had been destroyed by law enforcement in their efforts to flush him out. The homeowner—Leo Lech—filed a lawsuit against the municipality for compensation, but was ruled against by the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit; he appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States, but the court declined to hear the case.

Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre (formerly Comfort Dental Amphitheatre and Coors Amphitheatre) is an 18,000-person capacity amphitheatre located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States. It is the largest outdoor amphitheatre in the Denver metropolitan area and is generally open every year from May to September.

Dayton station is an island platformed RTD light rail station in Aurora, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the H and R lines, the station was opened on November 17, 2006, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District.
