Thomas Jefferson High School is a secondary school located in the Southmoor Park neighborhood, on the southeast side of Denver, Colorado, United States. It is operated under the Denver Public Schools. The school teams are the Spartans. The school and its athletic fields are undergoing significant renovations, both of which were built in 1960. The school offers Advanced Placement classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies, and Spanish. It also hosts a gifted program in various areas of study, such as the Computer Magnet Program, JROTC, concurrent enrollment and X-Track courses. Thomas Jefferson's programs include a student-run newspaper, student-run newscasting, Computer Magnet Program (CCT), yearbook assembled in-house, diversity club, National Honor Society, and DECA.

The station features a public art installation of a geometric pattern of roadway reflectors entitled Thunder over the Rockies through its pedestrian tunnel. It was created by Richard Elliott and dedicated in 2006.

Kent Denver School is a private, co-educational, non-sectarian college preparatory high school and middle school in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. It traces its origin back to the 1922 founding of the Kent School for Girls and has existed as a co-educational institution since 1974. The Kent School for Girls was founded by Mary Austin Bogue, Mary Louise Rathvon and Mary Kent Wallace on Sherman Street in Denver in 1922. Denver Country Day School, an all-men's high school, was founded by Andrews D. Black and Tom Chaffee in 1953, and the two schools relocated to a portion of the spacious Blackmer Farm in Cherry Hills Village in the 1960s. The schools operated side-by-side and with joint science classes until they merged in 1974 to become Kent Denver School.

The Rainbow Music Hall was a 1,485-capacity music venue located in Denver, Colorado. The venue opened in 1979 by concert promoter Barry Fey and closed in 1989. Many famous artists performed at the Rainbow Music Hall, including: On May 9, 1979, Journey recorded a live performance. The concert followed the release of their 5th studio LP Evolution; released March 20, 1979. Many of the early performances were recorded by local audio/video company ListenUp, which was instrumental in the 1980s in introducing compact discs to the US market for the first time. At one memorable concert at Rainbow Music Hall, ListenUp CEO, Walton Stinson tricked an audience of 1,000 into believing they were listening to a live performance of the band Grub Stake, but had segued the performance into a digital recording mid-performance to demonstrate the superior quality of digital audio over analog technology.

Denver Technological Center, better known as The Denver Tech Center or DTC, is a business and economic trading center located in Colorado in the southeastern portion of the Denver Metropolitan Area, within portions of the cities of Denver and Greenwood Village. It is home to several major businesses and corporations. The DTC roughly corresponds to the area surrounding the I-25 corridor between I-225 and SH 88 (Arapahoe Road) and has a similar business community reputation to Irvine, California.
