The Bibliothèque Marguerite Durand is a specialized public library run by the Paris municipal library system.

The PSB Paris School of Business (formerly ESG Management School) is a business school in Paris and Rennes (France) offering BBA, MBA, MSc, MIM, DBA, and executive education courses in English and French. The school is part of Groupe ESG, a network of seven business schools in Paris with a combined alumni of 26,000.

Notre-Dame de la Gare (French: Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Gare de Paris) is a Roman Catholic parish church located on Place Jeanne-d'Arc in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was built between 1855 and 1864 in an area of Paris which was rapidly industrializing, and was located near the major freight railway station, or "Gare", which gave the church its name. The style was inspired by Romanesque architecture.

The Ligue nationale de basket (LNB; English: National Basketball League) is the governing body of men's professional club basketball in France. The LNB organises the first-tier Pro A and the second-tier Pro B. Additionally, the federation annually organises the Leaders Cup, Match des Champions and LNB All-Star Game. The LNB was established in 1987 by a committee consisting of high level professional clubs from France. In 1990, the LNB overtook the CCHN as the organizer of the top tier competition in France.

The École supérieure de journalisme (ESJ Paris; in English: Superior School of Journalism of Paris) is an institution of higher education in Paris dedicated to journalism and related studies. Its origin was in the Collège Libre des Sciences Sociales founded in 1895 by Dick May (pen name of Jeanne Weill, daughter of the rabbi of Algiers), and other supporters during the Dreyfus Affair. It was made a separate Grande École in 1899 and claims the title of the "world's first school of journalism". Intended to give students a broad knowledge of politics and economics, it did not award a separate journalism degree by name until 1910. The University of Missouri School of Journalism also claims the title of "first in the world", but it did not open until 1908 in Columbia, Missouri in the United States.

Rue Zadkine is a commercial street in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, named after the sculptor of Russian descent Ossip Zadkine. It runs from the Rue Baudoin to the Rue Duchefdelaville. It has a length of some 90m, and broadens from a width of 15m to 25m along its length. The closest métro stations are: Chevaleret (approx. 300 m) Bibliothèque François Mitterrand (approx. 400 m).It is within a kilometer of the following notable sites: Bibliothèque Nationale de France; Pont de Bercy; Pont de Tolbiac.One of Karina Bisch's paintings of contemporary situated buildings is entitled rue Zadkine (02.17).

VideoLAN is a non-profit organization which develops software for playing video and other media formats. It originally developed two programs for media streaming, VideoLAN Client (VLC) and VideoLAN Server (VLS), but most of the features of VLS have been incorporated into VLC, with the result renamed VLC media player. The VideoLAN project began as a student endeavor at École Centrale Paris (France), but after releasing the software under the free software/open source GNU General Public License, the project is now multinational with a development team spanning 40 nations. The project has been completely separated from École Centrale Paris since 2009 when it was constituted as a non-profit organization.The current President of the VideoLAN non-profit organization is Jean-Baptiste Kempf, who is also one of the project's developers.

The Quartier asiatique (Asian Quarter), also called Triangle de Choisy or Petite Asie (Chinese: 巴黎唐人街, Vietnamese: Phố Tàu Paris) is the largest commercial and cultural center for the Asian community of Paris. It is located in the southeast of the 13th arrondissement in an area that contains many high-rise apartment buildings. Despite its status as a "Chinatown", the neighborhood also contains significant Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian populations.

The lycée Claude-Monet is a French public educational institution established in 1955. It consists of college, high school, and preparatory classes. It is located at 1, rue du Docteur-Magnan, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris close to the Quartier Asiatique. It is close to the parc de Choisy, stade Charles-Moureu and centre Pierre-Mendès-France, a university centre attached to the Pantheon-Sorbonne University.

Porte d'Ivry (French pronunciation: ​[pɔʁt divʁi]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving Line 7 and Tramway Line 3a. It is named after the Porte d'Ivry, a gate in the nineteenth century Thiers wall of Paris on the road that led to Ivry-sur-Seine. The station opened on 26 April 1931 when Line 7 took over the Line 10 route from Place Monge to Porte de Choisy and was extended to Porte d'Ivry. Porte d'Ivry was the terminus of Tramway Line 3 when it opened on 16 December 2006. It was extended to Porte de Vincennes on 15 December 2012 and renamed 3a.

Maison Planeix is a villa located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret for the sculptor Antonin Planeix. It was completed in 1928. In 1976 it was listed as a monument historique.

Halle Georges Carpentier is a multi-use indoor sporting arena that is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. The arena can be used for multiple sporting events, including: boxing, martial arts, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, handball, fencing, basketball, and gymnastics. It is part of a sports complex that also includes a gym and football, rugby, and athletics facilities. The arena is named after the French boxing legend Georges Carpentier, and it includes a statue of the boxer in the arena's lobby, by the sculptor Brennen. The seating capacity of the arena when it is configured for basketball games is 5,009.
