The Church of the Ascension, Stirchley (1901–1965) was a Church of England parish church in Stirchley, Birmingham.

It contains basketball and tennis courts, an orchard, an amphitheatre, playgrounds, a skateboard park, events space and copses. It had an on-site parkkeeper prior to funding for the role being withdrawn in October 2017 due to a drop of funding from the UK central government as a result of austerity policies.The Sons of Rest had a building in the park; it was demolished in the late 1990s.The Friends of Cotteridge Park was established in 1997.

Lifford Reservoir in the Kings Norton district of Birmingham, England was built by the Worcester & Birmingham Canal company in 1815 to compensate Lifford Mill for water lost to the canal. It is located at the junction of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal and the Worcester and Birmingham Canal and is on the River Rea Cycle Route. Angling is permitted subject to a charge outside the spring close season. Fish in the reservoir include tench, carp, pike, eels, perch, roach and bream.Its capacity is 68,190 m3 (89,190 cu yd), retained by an earthfill dam.

Selly Park Girls' School (formerly Selly Park Technology College for Girls) is a secondary school located in the Selly Park area of Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England.It is a non-selective community school for girls administered by Birmingham City Council. The school offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. It also has specialist status as a Technology College. The school was founded more than 100 years old. A former headmistress, Wendy Patricia Davies, received a damehood in 2001 for her work improving the school when it was still the Selly Park Technology College for Girls.

Cadbury Athletic Football Club is an amateur football club based in Birmingham, England. Affiliated with the Cadbury confectionery company and playing in the company colours of purple and white, they are currently members of the Midland League Division Two and play at the Cadbury Recreation Ground in Bournville.

The Bournville Cricket Ground in Birmingham, England was used for first-class cricket by Worcestershire County Cricket Club on two occasions. In 1910 they drew with Essex, and the following year they beat Surrey by two wickets. Warwickshire played Second XI matches here for a few years in the 1960s and 1970s. The ground also hosted four games in the ICC Trophy in 1979 (1), 1982 (2) and 1986 (1). The ground is now home to Bournville Cricket Club during the summer, who currently compete in the Warwickshire Cricket League.
