Cadbury World

Minworth Greaves is a timber cruck-framed, Grade II listed building in Bournville, an area of Birmingham, England. It is thought to date from the 14th-century or earlier, possibly as early as 1250. It is owned by the Bournville Village Trust. Minworth Greaves is situated next to Selly Manor, and is run as part of Selly Manor Museum. It was originally built in Minworth, near Sutton Coldfield to the North of Birmingham. After falling into extreme disrepair, it was purchased by George Cadbury and re-built by Laurence Cadbury in 1932 in the grounds of Selly Manor.

Selly Manor is a timber-framed building in Bournville, that was moved to its current site in 1916 by chocolate manufacturer and philanthropist George Cadbury. Together with the adjacent Minworth Greaves, it is operated as Selly Manor Museum by Bournville Village Trust as a heritage site, community museum and as a venue for functions including weddings, for which it is licensed. The museum is open all year and stages regular events. It houses the Laurence Cadbury furniture Collection of early furniture and domestic objects which date from 1500 - 1900.

Cadbury Athletic Football Club is an amateur football club based in Birmingham, England. Affiliated with the Cadbury confectionery company and playing in the company colours of purple and white, they are currently members of the Midland League Division Two and play at the Cadbury Recreation Ground in Bournville.

The Bournville Cricket Ground in Birmingham, England was used for first-class cricket by Worcestershire County Cricket Club on two occasions. In 1910 they drew with Essex, and the following year they beat Surrey by two wickets. Warwickshire played Second XI matches here for a few years in the 1960s and 1970s. The ground also hosted four games in the ICC Trophy in 1979 (1), 1982 (2) and 1986 (1). The ground is now home to Bournville Cricket Club during the summer, who currently compete in the Warwickshire Cricket League.

Bournville () is a model village on the southwest side of Birmingham, England, founded by the Quaker Cadbury family for employees at its Cadbury's factory, and designed to be a "garden" (or "model") village where the sale of alcohol was forbidden. Cadbury's is well known for chocolate products – including a dark chocolate bar branded Bournville. Historically in northern Worcestershire, it is also a ward within the council constituency of Selly Oak and home to the Bournville Centre for Visual Arts. Bournville is known as one of the most desirable areas to live in the UK; research by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation in 2003 found that it was "one of the nicest places to live in Britain".

The School of Art, Bournville (formerly Bournville College of Art and Bournville Centre for Visual Arts but better known as Bournville School of Art) was an art school in Birmingham, England. It was located at Ruskin Hall on Linden Road in the area of Bournville. It became part of Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD) at Birmingham City University when it merged with the university in 1988 when the latter was still Birmingham Polytechnic.The school was refurbished for £6 million in 2002 and reopened on 21 October 2002, precisely 100 years after the foundation stone for Ruskin Hall was laid. It is home to the International Project Space, and is the site of Birmingham's annual Creative Partnerships exhibition, a showcase of contemporary and visual art produced by local school students. The centre was the subject of controversy in 2008 regarding an exhibition honouring the work of author J. G. Ballard, which included sexually explicit images (described as "heavily pornographic" by a local councillor) and the wreckage of a car.Alumni of the school include photographer Richard Billingham, artists Roger Hiorns and Donald Rodney, illustrator John Shelley, video artist Marty St. James, and actress Marjorie Yates.From 2013, the School's courses moved to Birmingham City University's new Parkside Building in Birmingham city centre, with the Bournville site becoming home to the University's International College.

The International Project Space (sometimes referred to as IPS:Bournville) was an art gallery located at the Bournville Centre for Visual Arts, which was a campus of Birmingham City University's Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in the Bournville district of Birmingham, England until 2013. The site is now home to the University's International College. The gallery opened in 2002 and hosts a programme of exhibitions by local and international contemporary artists along with residencies and conferences. Former curators: Andrew Hunt, Matthew Williams, Andrew Bonacina. Artists whose work has featured at the IPS include Hans Aarsman, Bill Brandt and Aleksandra Mir. David Osbaldeston, Steve Claydon, Ian Kiaer & Sara Mackillop, FREEE, Laure Provost.

Cotteridge Park is a public park in Cotteridge, Birmingham, England. Cotteridge Park is one of the Victorian parks in the city, set in 22 acres (89,000 m2), and located in the Bournville ward with an active community support group. It contains basketball and tennis courts, an orchard, an amphitheatre, playgrounds, a skateboard park, events space and copses. It had an on-site parkkeeper prior to funding for the role being withdrawn in October 2017 due to a drop of funding from the UK central government as a result of austerity policies.The Sons of Rest had a building in the park; it was demolished in the late 1990s.The Friends of Cotteridge Park was established in 1997.
