Musée Adzak, also known as Adzak–Espace d'Art International, is an art museum located at 3, rue Jonquoy, Paris, France. It is located in the Plaisance District, in the southern part of 14th arrondissement. The nearest Paris Métro stop is Plaisance on Line 13. The museum is in the former atelier built by British photographer and sculptor Roy Adzak (1927–1987), who was born Royston Wright. The studio exhibits paintings, sculpture, and photography by a wide range of artists, and encourages international meetings and dialogue in its space.

Plaisance (French pronunciation: [plɛzɑ̃s] (listen)) is a station on line Line 13 of the Paris Métro in the 14th arrondissement. The station opened on 21 January 1937 as part of the original line 14 between Bienvenüe and Porte de Vanves. This line became part of line 13 on 9 November 1976. The station is named after the Château du Maine which was built in the 17th century and possessed an immense park. The word "plaisance" is equivalent to the English "pleasance", that is a pleasure garden. It was purchased in 1842 by a surveyor called Couesnon whose son subdivided it, creating the district of Plaisance between 1858 and 1860, which became one of the largest slums of Paris. The Compagnie générale des omnibus (a major 19th century operator of horse buses and later trams and motor buses) razed the castle to build garages.

Pernety (French: [pɛʁnəti] (listen)) is a station on line Line 13 of the Paris Métro in the 14th arrondissement. The station is named after the Rue Pernety, named after Joseph Marie de Pernety (1766–1856), who was one of Napoleon's generals and owned the land where the street was built.

Notre-Dame-du-Travail (Also known as Notre-Dame-du-Travail de Plaisance) is a Roman Catholic church located at 59 rue Vercingetorix in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. It was built between 1897 and 1902 for the largely working-class population of the Plaisance neighborhood. It is notable particularly for its exposed steel framework in the interior, resembling a factory, in contrast to the more traditional exterior. The entire church was registered as an historic monument on July 5, 2016.

The lycée Raspail is a public lycée located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. It is a general technological and professional lycée which is known as a trade Lycée "of energy and the environment". In 1919 the architect received the Bally Prize from the Academy of Fine Arts for his design of the church.

Gare Montparnasse (French pronunciation: ​[ɡaʁ mɔ̃paʁnas]; Montparnasse station), officially Paris-Montparnasse, is one of the six large Paris railway termini, located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements. The station opened in 1840, was rebuilt in 1852 and relocated in 1969 to a new station just south of the original location – where subsequently the prominent Montparnasse Tower was constructed. It is a central element to the Montparnasse area. The original station is noted for the Montparnasse derailment, where a steam train crashed through the station in 1895, an event captured in widely known photographs – and reproduced in full scale in several locations.The station serves intercity TGV trains to the west and southwest of France including Tours, Bordeaux, Rennes and Nantes, and suburban and regional services on the Transilien Paris – Montparnasse routes. There is also a metro station. Gare Montparnasse is the only mainline terminus in Paris not directly connected to the RER system, though the Montparnasse main line is connected to the RER at Versailles-Chantiers and the LGV Atlantique at Massy Palaiseau.

The Jardin Atlantique is a public park and garden located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, on the roof that covers the tracks and platforms of the Gare Montparnasse railway station. It has an area of 3.4 hectares. It was created by the landscape architects Brun, Penna and Schnitzler, and opened in 1994.
