Ursuline College (Chatham)

Chatham-Kent (2021 population: 104,316) is a single-tier municipality in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It is mostly rural, and its population centres are Chatham, Wallaceburg, Tilbury, Blenheim, Ridgetown, Wheatley and Dresden. The current Municipality of Chatham-Kent was created in 1998 by the amalgamation of Blenheim, Bothwell, Camden, the City of Chatham, the Township of Chatham, Dover, Dresden, Erie Beach, Erieau, Harwich, Highgate, Howard, Orford, Raleigh, Ridgetown, Duart, Thamesville, Tilbury East, Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Wheatley and Zone. The Chatham-Kent census division, which includes the independent Delaware Nation at Moraviantown First Nation, had a population of 102,042 in the 2016 census.

The Chatham Jail was an adult prison located at 17 7th Ave at the corner of Stanley Ave in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. The jail closed May 16, 2014. The Chatham Jail along with the Windsor Jail were replaced by the South West Detention Centre in Maidstone (Windsor) Ontario.

Chatham-Kent Secondary School is located in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada. With a student population of about 1200, it is the largest public secondary school in Chatham-Kent operating at 85% capacity. The school is currently undergoing multi-million dollar renovations. The student population is projected to increase with further school consolidations, and the potential closure of John McGregor Secondary School.

Chatham station is a train station in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, served by Via Rail trains running between Toronto and Windsor. The station is wheelchair accessible. The Canadian National Railways/VIA Rail Station at Chatham is a one-and-a-half-storey, brick railway station, built in 1879. It is located in a mixed commercial area, south of the city centre of Chatham-Kent . The formal recognition is confined to the railway station building itself.

The Lambton Kent District School Board (known as English-language Public District School Board No. 10 prior to 1999) is the school board responsible for public education in Lambton County and Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada. Lambton and Kent Counties are made up of numerous small towns and communities situated in Southwestern Ontario, a geographic area surrounded by the Great Lakes. The board serves over 21,000 elementary and high school students. Surrounding towns and communities include Alvinston, Blenheim, Bothwell, Brigden, Chatham, Corunna, Dresden, Forest, Grand Bend, Merlin, Mooretown, Petrolia, Point Edward, Ridgetown, Sarnia, Thamesville, Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Watford, Wheatley, and Wyoming.

The Chatham Memorial Arena is an ice hockey arena located in Chatham, Ontario, Canada built in 1949. The arena seats approximately 2,500 spectators and is the home to the Chatham Maroons of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. Located in a residential area on the south side of Chatham, the Memorial Arena has seen numerous renovations in the past ten years, the most recent addition being the installation of a larger, more modern score clock as well as improved lighting. The Chatham Memorial Arena is the largest sports venue in the municipality of Chatham-Kent. The facility houses ice hockey and figure skating in the winter and ball hockey in the summer. It is also an integral part of the annual Jaycee Fair festivities. Amenities in the venue are limited. With only two concession stands, one souvenir stand and single washrooms, the arena is outdated. However, the arena features a very rustic if not rough atmosphere, and the local fans do their best to add to this.

Kent County, area 2,458 km2 (949 sq mi) is a historic county in the Canadian province of Ontario. The county was created in 1792 and named by John Graves Simcoe in honour of the English County. The county is in an alluvial plain between Lake St. Clair, and Lake Erie, watered by two navigable streams, the Thames River and the Sydenham River. On January 1, 1998, the county, its townships, towns, and Chatham were amalgamated into the single-tier city of Chatham-Kent.

CKUE-FM is a radio station located in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. Owned by Blackburn Radio, the station broadcasts a classic hits format under the name 95.1/100.7 Cool FM. The station broadcasts on 95.1 MHz, and operates a rebroadcaster serving the nearby Windsor market, CKUE-FM-1, on 100.7 MHz. CKUE's main signal is broadcast from a transmitter tower a few kilometres west of the community of Chatham, Ontario, with an effective radiated power of 42,000 watts.
